Let's see...today I've got my usual first and second period classes...and then during third period I'm going to go have a meeting with my mentor...fourth and fifth period I'm getting stuff cut out for this bulletin board...gonna leave fifth a little early so I can swing by my house and pick up something...then go to the middle school and make sure my study hall behaves themselves ^_~

We're going to try a knitting lesson with a couple of them, since they seemed really eager to learn when I mentioned the idea :3 My major condition for them is that they have to promise that they won't get impatient and frustrated and give up if they don't get it in the first two minutes ^^;;

Oh, and then the Music Boosters meeting tonight. It has been a week of meetings x_x Honestly, I don't like our mentor meetings very much. They always feel kind of disjointed...and it feels like we sit there for an hour or so and don't actually get very much information. A lot of this stuff, we could really just do with our mentors. But I think it's a requirement from the State, so...boo hiss!

No fic today ;o; Working on some stuff, but have nothing done and at a place where I want to post it.

1. Yes, I do :D I might not know you as well as I know some of the other people on my f-list, but you're a sweet person and I think of you as a friend ~♥

2. I haven't done it, but it doesn't bother me if other people do *shrug*

3. Yup! I play piano (badly) and euphonium. I also used to play the trumpet.

4. No. I'm just starting my career, and I've way too many things going on to even RISK such a thing. Plus...I've been tipsy a couple of times, and I fail to see the attraction in such a state.

5. I didn't like the movie Wedding Crashers, but I sort of liked the way they describe it in there: "Love is the recognition of the soul's counterpart in another person." That's just one definition, though--it makes me sad that so much attention is given to romantic love while completely ignoring familial love or platonic love.

6. Joined up my freshman year of high school, so...nearing five years. A friend wanted me to join her community, so she prodded me into it ^^;; Don't regret it!

3. Oh lordy...I don't know. Mom says that for as long as she can remember, I've just always had music around me. When I was a kid, I would always carry around my little plastic tape player and listen to music on that. So...I guess it's something I've always had--something innate.

4. ...so long as it's not illegal and won't turn my brain into total goo? GIVE ME MY CHOCOLATE!!!

5. Respect. Common ground (i.e. similar hobbies, etc.). Mutual liking--I can't remember the movie, but there's a scene where an older man is explaining to his daughter's prospective groom that you need to like her first. Then, someday, you'll wake up and realize that you love her. I just thought that was an interesting, reasonable way to look at things :)

6. Life-consuming website addiction of DOOM. Definitely. BEST DOOM EVER!
