I are accomplished!

candylandI finally went ahead and uploaded the Rolling Panda of Doom icon :D It's just too cute not to *heart*
Today was rather productive. I got pretty much everything done that I wanted to, with the exception of the laundry. But really, that's okay. I think I've got enough to get me through to Wednesday, which is honestly all I need. Then I go home \o/
But the apartment is picked up (and I'm trying to figure out where all that stuff scattered around my office came from), the garbage is taken out, and the dishes are done. There are two packages sitting on my semi-organized living room floor, wrapped and addressed to be dropped off at the post office tomorrow. I have a couple more cards to write to go out tomorrow as well, but there's time still. In short...I am proud of myself! :D
So tomorrow night I pack and finish picking up around here--and also clean out my car, just for good measure. I also need to ask my principal about Wednesday afternoon. We have staff development scheduled until two, but it occurred to me that we might be on contract until our usual 3:45, which would have me getting to Mom and Dad's house around eight PM in the dark and possible rain/snow. Not cool D: So I'm going to ask if I can leave right after the staff meeting and get on the road. The less time I have to spend driving in the dark in possible bad weather, the better.
Tuesday night is the middle school choir concert (which will take all of half an hour to perform ~_~), and then I finish packing. Gotta have everything loaded up into my car before I go to bed on Tuesday night. I also have to make sure that I've got a full gas tank and that I've got my MapQuest directions printed off. I've driven the route a couple of times, but I'm coming from a different starting point this time. And it never hurts to have directions. Especially when you're like me--ever seen those Family Circus comics where the kid is going all over the place with a dotted line to track his path as he goes from Point A to Point B? Yeah--I've had those moments in the car before ^^;; You may mock me if you like.
Wednesday we have an early out. I'm thinking about popping The Producers back in for the high schoolers and some sort of a movie for the middle schoolers. We have twenty-five minute class periods, so there's not a ton of time to actually do anything, and I doubt anyone's going to have even a smidgen of focus (including me). Go to the meeting, and then hit the road! I think Dad said they were going to just order pizza on Wednesday night, which is a-okay by me.
AND THEN THANKSGIVING!! *\o/*
Fic-wise, I got on a roll last night...and wrote six fics. Not even kidding. None of them were terribly long, but yeah. Six of 'em. Which means that I have three left to write/post by the end of the month. Going to see if I can crank them out tonight and have them all done. Then I can start on stuff for Christmas. And if I get them uploaded before I leave, then I don't have to worry about having them on my jump-drive to take home with me.
So here's to relaxing for the rest of the evening! YAY!
