There is really something to be said for Sundays. It's really hard to beat lounging around in my bathrobe, pajamas, and slippers, eating a Hot Pocket and drinking generic cherry-flavored juice (neither of which has ANY nutritionally redeeming value whatsoever) and working on fanfics.

I am very proud of myself for updating my story for fic_off. One more chapter, and a story that's been in progress for FIVE YEARS gets put to bed and I don't have to think about it anymore. And then I'll be down to...four works-in-progess! WHOO!! My ongoing Magic Knight Rayearth epic (borrowing a page from ickaimp, otherwise known as "That @$#%&*@) fic"), my set for 30_evil_deeds (which is just shy of being half finished), and my set for fanfic100 (which is just over half finished, which means I've got a long way to go), and What You Wish For, the outline of which has gone into rebellion and is demanding higher wages and two weeks paid vacation before it will cooperate.

I'm not counting 100fandomhell in this tally because it consists of a lot of one-shots ^^;; Oh, and did I mention that I'm swearing off theme comms after I finish fanfic100? Because I am. AND NO, jeva_chan, I WILL NOT SIGN UP FOR 30_deathfics, NO MATTER HOW FUN IT MIGHT BE!

Once upon a time I wouldn't let myself have more than one chapter-fic going at a time. Then I started writing for series that were NOT Dragonball Z (yeah, yeah, we all have to start somewhere, right? *laugh*), and that rule sort of went out the window.

Not thinking about anything, not doing anything even though I probably should be...aren't Sundays just GRAND? :D Feel free to poke me online if you like, I'm just hanging out ^_~

That's sort of the approach I'm taking. I want this fic to be done so I don't have to think about it anymore. Whether it's good, bad, disappointing, whatever...I just want it to be done. It's already got the "IT'S ALIVE!" Award, now to wrap it up for "Fic'd Off."

...and if I can add another couple of chapters to my MKR fic, I could claim "I Made a Good Go of It" for that one! All three awards, whee! xD

I just finished the stupid thing. I actually had a lot more written sitting around on my computer than I thought. Still, with all the writing I had to do to link the sections together, it added a nice chunk of words. But I'm done! Even if the chapter is twice as long as previous chapters. That's okay. I didn't want to bother splitting it up.

Now I'm thinking about my Cat and Mouse (DC) fic. I posted one chapter on mc1t a while back and got writer's block in the second chapter. Something tells me I need to go back and add parts to the first chapter. I might try that one next. Might.

I saw the post over on fic_off. Doesn't seem to be a great deal of activity going on over there as yet...you, me, and jeva_chan are the only ones who've posted this go-around so far. But we're finishing stuff, yes! \o/

I thought about posting What You Wish For on MC1T, but with how often I update...that's probably not a good plan ^^;;
