candylandWow. I'd forgotten what this place looked like~ Yes, that's right! Coming to you live from the classroom! So you can all put down those pitchforks and stop hating me, yes? :D? *dodges thrown things*
We're back at school today, and everyone is...well, they're all fairly distractable. I'm no exception to that. Both choir classes have come and gone for the day. All that's left is middle school study hall.
I'm planning on going grocery shopping after school. I need to go somewhere that is NOT my apartment for a while, so I figure I might as well go and get my shopping done for the next couple of weeks. I'm peeking through some cookbooks in search of new recipes. Been falling into kind of a rut with my meals lately. Looking for some new stuff.
I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I finished listening to The Big Bow Mystery. It was supposed to be one of the first true "locked room" murders. And it was AWESOME. Good ending, good twist, everything you needed to know to figure it out was presented in some fashion in the story itself, and there was a nice dash of cruel irony at the end that made me start cackling out loud...in the middle of my classroom during parent-teacher conferences. No one was in the room, though ^_~
So now I'm starting The Circular Staircase. We'll see how that goes \o/
...there's a little bit of snow falling, all flurry-like and stuff O_O NO MORE, DAMMIT! NO MORE!
Oh, and did everyone remember that LURKER DAY is fast approaching? It's March 2nd, yay! I have a couple of places/people to de-lurk at. Being the cowardly thing of cowardice that I am, I need the motivation *pokes fingers together* Should probably try to get some sort of a post scraped together for it...
