One of these days I should do a "re-introduction" post. And also a drabble request. I'm in the mood to do one.
I think most of us expected to have a late start this morning. The roads were a bit icy. But it's really the wind that's so awful. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so windy. It takes it from being just cold to being bitter. At least the snow on my car was merely snow and not ice--I started my car fifteen minutes before I had to leave to let it warm up, and it helped. More brushing, less scraping involved. But to get into my car in the first place, I had to wrestle a bit. The doors were frozen shut ^^;;
...how did I scratch my wrist yesterday? I don't know what I did, but there's a scratch on my wrist. And it hurts D: I put a Band-Aid on it to act as a cushion, and that helped. Just wish I knew how I did it in the first place.
If I may have a moment of total shallowness, I look really cute today! I'm actually wearing my hair down for once (I usually flat-iron my bangs and pull the rest half-back)--took a few extra minutes to flat-iron my whole head. Since it's so cold, I'm wearing jeans, a white tank-top, and this big heavy brown sweater with a massively scooped cowl neck (hence the tank underneath). I feel really cute! \o/
Talked to my mom last night. Since our Easter/spring break is no longer a four-day weekend due to the snow make-up, I won't be going to Mom and Dad's house. It's really pointless for me to drive four hours, spend one day, and then have to turn around and come right back. I'll be enjoying my three-day weekend here alone, I guess *shrug*
So we came up with an alternative plan--as we've done once before, we're going to plan on meeting somewhere on Easter Saturday. We pick somewhere approximately in the middle, and we meet there for lunch or shopping or what-have-you. Since it's a break, Little Sister sounds like she'll be able to come along. So yeah, should be fun!
I did realize that I'm getting even more boring yesterday when I talked to my parents, though. Mom asked me if there something small I wanted as an Easter present. My response was a set of canisters--the kind you get for flour, sugar, etc.
Making a run into town after school. Need to stop at the bank and pick up a couple of things at the store. I'm almost out of tea bags, and I do not function well in the morning without my tea. The reason I like this better than coffee is because A) it does have some caffeine in it, which satisfies my addiction, and B) tea is usually considered good for the voice. I loves it so~

because I fail.It snowed here this morning! For all of five minutes, but it snowed~ Made me a very happy ninja, even though I froze on the way to class.

It rained and snowed here yesterday \o/ We've been getting a lot of that here this winter. Been messy--we've had eight snow days thus far.
A flat-iron (http://www.flatironreviews.com/) is like a curling iron, except with two flat pieces of metal. You heat them up and clamp your hair between them to straighten it XD I'm not very good at doing my hair, but I can work a flat-iron ^^;;

I don't think I've ever had a snow day~ :x I mean, this is the... second time it's snowed even a little where I live? Wants moar snow, plzxthnx.
Oh! I know what those are. ♥ I think we just call them something different, here. Use 'em occasionally myself, though I usually just blow-dry mine and let it do whatever it wants...

Here in Iowa, snow-days are a way of winter life. We had two days off to an ice-storm back in November because the power was out all over the area. And then we've had storm upon storm. We're a rural school, so when the roads get bad, we don't want buses on them.
:O What do you call them? I usually use mine on my bangs and then shove the rest of my hair back. I'm really not a very girly girl--not much on doing my hair or make-up. But I love cute purses. They're my weakness ^___^
