It's a quarter after five in the morning. I woke up half an hour ago coughing and hacking, and I can't get back to sleep. My lungs seem to be in rebellion, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I don't think I've done anything to them lately. Why are they doing this to me?

I'm starting to feel like my body has somehow programmed itself to wake up after six hours of sleep because that's what's happening lately. Especially after last night--I downed a full dose of Nyquil to knock me out (which it did), and usually that stuff puts me under for at LEAST eight hours. But nope, I dropped into glorious unconsciousness for maybe six and a half, and then YOU BE AWAKE NOW!

I'm really quite tempted to get dressed and run to the store in Oskie before school to grab some cough syrup and more Dayquil. I'm going to float through classes today, oh yes I am~ And no, not staying home. Need to go to work. I can function. Just need to be drugged up a bit to help!

...and I have that meeting right after school.

*flops into the lap of the nearest person and mewls for pettings*


ETA: I'll look through the voice recording meme things later. Unless someone reeeeeeeeally wants me to sing 'em now, with the scratchy throat and the coughing and the other stuff? I'm sure that would be a recording for the ages >_>;;


SON OF ETA: ...so after I made this post, I was freezing, so I went and curled up in bed to try and warm...and somehow managed to doze back off around six AM. Woke up again forty-five minutes later when my alarm went off. Wow, I am going to be glassy-eyed today... *goes to get ready for work*

Everybody keeps talking about Nyquil and Dayquil, and it, weirdly enough, makes me feel a little left out. 'Cause I've never actually tried it, and almost everybody else has, it seems.

... Though, I'll admit, it's like that with a lot of things. **cough** I live under a rock.

I hate taking meds, period. But if I have to...might as well use stuff that helps ^^;; *glomps you* I'm really just tired naturally as of late...

I prefer not to use meds when possible, but Dayquil and Nyquil (or rather, their cheaper generic counterparts) have seen me through a few tough days.

*pets* Dayquil is my drug nightmare, it made me stoned like you wouldn't believe and I hated every minute of it, lol.

I really hate taking meds, period. Dunno why. But if I've got a cold, Dayquil usually pulls me through in one piece. At least tomorrow will be comparatively relaxed...today was just hectic.
