I just registered my Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass game on the Nintendo website. So hopefully in some period of time in the near future, I should become the proud owner of a pretty feather stylus! I might have to start registering my games more often *laugh*
We're getting ready for solo/ensemble competition at the HS, so I had a TON of girls in for lessons today. Had one staring into a mirror to work on dropping her jaw more, and the other laying on her back on the floor with a book on her stomach to work on breath control. We've still got a couple of weeks to get everyone ready and singing pretty.
There is something to be said for spending the evening relaxing. Dinner was in the crock-pot, so no real work involved there. Just served myself up a bowl o' stew. And I have spent much of my evening reclining here in my slippers, denim capris, and the dress shirt I wore for work today. Ah, comfy~
Also got another load of laundry in. The dryer should be done in...maybe another half an hour-ish? Should get me through the end of the week. I'll do more on Friday. Got a bunch of stuff I need to do on Friday, actually--I need to go get registered to vote here and get my car registration moved to the county I live in now. And possibly renew my driver's license while I'm there. I'd rather like to have my horizontal license to show that I'm over twenty-one ^^;; But that could also wait until October.
illeistic was kind enough to hook me up with the X/1999 manga. I will be reading it shortly...after I finish Hunter x Hunter. I started reading that on a whim. I'm currently on chapter thirty-seven...out of two-hundred and seventy-three. Might take me a while to get through it all XDD They just completed the Hunter test. I might be hooked ^^;;
Still have about a thousand things I need to watch. Note to self: do some of that this weekend!
Could post a fic, too...meh, I'll do it tomorrow ^__^ *goes back to reading*

Date: 2008-03-18 09:02 am (UTC)...except for the fact that Clamp is stuck at tome 18 for years now and we'll possibly never know whether they will finish those last 4 tomes or not.~_~

Date: 2008-03-18 04:36 pm (UTC)I passed my clamp stage a long while ago, Wish was my very first manga I liked, then Magic Knight Rayearth followed by several others like X, Clover, you name it.:D There are so many series I don't know yet though, but then I'm not sure I'd like them as much as I did earlier when I liked shôjo manga better.:)

Date: 2008-03-18 04:41 pm (UTC)I started the way a lot of people did--Sailor Moon, Pokemon, DB/Z, etc.--and then after Furuba (my first "real" anime), I discovered CCS, MKR, etc. I do sometimes wonder if I would still be as in love with those series if I were to pick them up now.
They did do a one-shot volume called The Legend of Chun Hyang, I think is how it's spelled. That's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I wish they'd do more of that--such a great set-up with some really neat characters ~♥

Date: 2008-03-18 04:56 pm (UTC)First manga I held in my innocent hands was Bastard, where the first scene was all about how to undress a chained up girl in the most creative way possible (answer: with a gigantic amoeba that would eat only her clothes away O_o). I was not impressed. That's why it took me that long to get into manga, I read Wish no earlier than when I was twenty.^^;
Never heard of that one before, but I read another one with a Snow Lady and other legends...? *scratches her head*

Date: 2008-03-18 04:13 pm (UTC)Actually, I think X was put hiatus due to some events that occurred at the time of its publication, which CLAMP said in X was a sign of the end of the world....If you like X/1999, you should read Tokyo Babylon as well, which stars two characters from X
