I was going to post about how my day has been going so far, but...well, let's just say it hasn't gotten any better since reading this statement from SUP's head honcho regarding LJ. Apparently if the users aren't happy...we're supposed to shut up and take it because that's what "enemy forces" do. I wish I was making that up.

So...who's up for that strike on March 21st? And please don't fill this post with comments about why it won't work. I'm really not in the mood to debate with people right now, and it would get extremely ugly extremely quickly. So just...don't. Please.

I hope Mom's good company when she gets here. So pissed off...

I'm already having sort of a lousy day, so this was just...well, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I shall stop whining now.

I practically live on LJ, really. So it might be a bit of a challenge for me. Maybe I'll spend the day getting my icons and things uploaded on my IJ accounts and getting my fic-blog over there organized. Been putting that off for a while...

*nod* This has turned into an absolute mess. Honestly...I think if they really want to make a statement, this strike should last for a WEEK. But I'm not the one who started it, so... ~_~;; I dunno. We'll see what happens.

There seems to be a "more accurate" alternative translation now, but honestly? Even with a slightly less insulting tone, it doesn't change anything about the content to me. Maybe I'm just blind and can't understand russian mentality, but he still doesn't seem to be very interested in critic voices to me.

And yeah, I'm still fuming as well. If I'm honest, I don't think the strike will change anything as well. But I'm so fed up with just waiting and hoping for better times (that only get worse and worse, obviously), that's why I won't go anywhere near livejournal on friday. Because even if it's just a minor sign that they'll ignore anyway, it's still a sign and therefor better than nothing.
Next step would be to leave LJ, but that won't go from one day to another I'm afraid, as much as I'd like to in this moment. *sigh*

Well, that guy already stated that they considered the strike as blackmail and wouldn't react to that, but that they intended to discuss the possibility of bringing back basic accounts once the upset users would calm down. I hope I'm not confusing anything here, I'm typing this from memory, better go check and see yourself if I'm not writing crap here.
Not that I care, they'd have to do wonders to gain my trust back, even in case they'd bring basic accounts back.

Personlly, I don't care. I'm pretty apathetic. As far as I'm concerned, there are a lot more important things in the world to be worried about and there are other journals out there. I'm going to stick around for a while (with the gift of paid account, I intend to make use of it).
