I got an email from Nintendo saying that my Legend of Zelda-esque feather-stylus is in the mail \o/ *does a Happy Alto Dance in honor of this* They said to figure six weeks...but if it's being sent by first-class mail, I'm guessing it'll get here a bit sooner \o/

Speaking of Nintendo, meimi is a prat who got me hooked on this site called The Backloggery. That link leads to my account. You basically list video games you've played. It's totally pointless, but I'm having a lot of fun trying to remember all the games I've played over the years.

That's...really quite an undertaking considering I've been playing video games since my hands were big enough to hold the controller. I think I was around five years old the first time I picked up the ol' Super Mario Bros. for the ORIGINAL Nintendo. Got my first Gameboy (one of the big gray ones) with my First Communion money when I was...seven or so... *skips merrily down memory lane*

I tried a new recipe last night--it was basically pulled/shredded pork (whatever you want to call it). Originally Southwestern Pork Burritos, but I changed the recipe somewhat to account for my tastes. 'Twas incredibly tasty on a tortilla with cheese, and provided leftovers ~♥

Tonight, I think I'm going to run to Ottumwa. Want to get my tax refund check (SQUEE!) in the bank, and pick up a couple of little things at the store. Nothing too major there--just means I'll be getting home a little later than usual, is all. And then...I dunno. Something exciting and fun, I'm sure.

Wooo whoo for skipping down video game memory lane. I totally had to do that as well. Filling out job applications online can get quite taxing on the brain and I needed a break. Anywho I'm jewelsy1017.

I've been going down Wikipedia's comprehensive video game list, and it's been a lot of fun--I'm actually remembering some games I haven't played or thought of in a decade.

For remembering games you've played, might I recommend this? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_video_games) I've been going through by console and getting as many as I can remember. Currently at eighty-three, and still going.

I've already gone through several systems I own/have owned and gotten a TON of games on my list, some of which I'd actually forgotten about. It's been a great trip down memory lane, and I'm not done yet XD

If you log in and go to the drop-menu at the top under "My Backlogerry," choose Options. Then scroll down, and you'll have to type in the name of the person you want to friend. I are Candyland ^_~ It's a weird way to do it, but... *shrug*

It just frustrates me--more than any LoZ game has ever frustrated me, to be honest. You remember me on the phone with you, trying to get through the Forbidden Fortress the first time? Yeah.

We are mutual friends now \o/ I still have a few more systems to get through xD This is fun!

Huzzah! I will make a fan of you--hopefully you will fall as much in love with it as I did. Especially because the second Layton game is supposed to be out here in December (or so the rumors say) :D
