Hurts to move ;o;
Mar. 29th, 2008 06:46 pmThe dance was actually a good time. Middle schoolers are fun :D
Last night, I crashed HARD. Don't even remember walking from my desk chair to my bed. Just know that I apparently opened my eyes again around one AM or thereabouts, came back to the computer, sent an IM, and went back to bed. Woke up again around eight-thirty.
I don't know what I did, but when I sat up this morning my back spoke up, as if to say, "Nah, you really don't need to move freely today." The lower left side of my back has been hurting like crazy today. It's not so bad when I'm just sitting or laying around, but when I stand up or try to move in any special way--like, say, bending to one side or the other, or leaning forward slightly to do dishes--it HURTS.
Trying a new recipe for dinner tonight--chicken stew. Nice and easy and done in the crock-pot ^^ I'm eating it right now, actually. Need a little salt, but otherwise, two thumbs up!
I've been being really lazy about writing lately. I've got the ideas. I just...lack the motivation. I dunno. Been thinking about some stuff lately. Don't quite know what I'm going to do, but if I decide, it'll be posted here. [/enigmatic babble]
In the meantime, I am determined to get a Professor Layton fandom going. Even if I have to write every single fic for it myself XDD My fellow Laytonites! HELP ME IN THIS ENDEAVOR!
ickaimp, I've been reading Pluto and I blame you *shakes Fist of Righteous Indignation and Love* I like it. Really interesting series, even if there were a couple of panels that sort of freaked me out ^___^
Don't know if I mentioned it before, but I actually sat down and read the manga for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And I actually found it to be a lot more enjoyable than my attempts at watching the anime were. Still didn't quite see where all the fuss really came from, but it wasn't as bad in manga form.

Yeah, also read the manga for Haruhi and didn't really catch what the buzz was about either.
... Um... Storm in Heaven, who is scanlating TGQ, has a request up that people not post their series elsewhere on manga readers, because you can both download and read their released online, at their site.

Date: 2008-03-30 01:06 am (UTC)Haruhi was interesting enough, but it didn't strike me as the best thing since the lava lamp, which is what a lot of the fandom touts it as *shrug*
Whoa, thanks for letting me know... *removes the link* Will read in on their site ^^

Date: 2008-03-30 03:59 am (UTC)And I'm glad you had fun. Fun rocks. I suspect I will be joining in on the pain bit tomorrow. I've done a lot of physical labor today and my body is already telling me it isn't happy.

Date: 2008-03-30 08:10 am (UTC)and still need more money to continue to buy 20th Century Boys. There's just Master Keaton I didn't like that much, but otherwise? That mangaka is a genius in storytelling!
