IT'S STORMY TODAY! :D
Okay, I absolutely love storms--rain and thunder and lightning make me a happy, happy girl \o/ Plus, it means that if it's cloudy, it has an excuse to be so, and thus alleviates some of the blah. Plus, I love the sound of rain and thunder, and lightning is pretty *easily amused by shiny things*
But it was POURING this morning when I woke up and came into work. Like...the streets were lagoons and I asked my students if they enjoyed our morning monsoon *laugh* The streets are badly flooded, and I did worry a bit about hydroplaning, but made it safely, so no problems there. The rain has stopped for the moment, but if the Weather Channel website is to be believed, we should be due for plenty more rain and storm-age. Which is fine by me! Will just have to be careful when I drive to the middle school.
Need to make a grocery list at some point, too. Probably won't get to the store until Friday, which is fine, but it helps to get the list made. Looks like I'll be stopping at Gamestop on the way home *rubs hands together in a glee-ish manner*
I'm planning to play more Phoenix Wright tonight--hopefully I'll get through at least one more case. I want to see more Edgeworth XDD He amuses me as he makes me want to punch him in the face. We shall see...
Also, my music thing? I'm listening to "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. And he actually says that. He means that they've been woken up, but... XDDD I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING TO THAT DOUJIN! *shot*

Date: 2008-03-31 04:13 pm (UTC)Phoenix Wright is too addicting for its own good. I killed my sisters DS by playing it.

Date: 2008-03-31 04:21 pm (UTC)It is! The first time I picked it up, it wasn't that addictive, but I tried it again and now I think I'm hooked. Oh well, there are worse things to get hooked on. *casts magic to revive the DS!*

Date: 2008-03-31 04:33 pm (UTC)\o/ Yay! Phoenix Wright! I'm working my way through the fifth case of game 3 and... uhm, yeah, it's easy enough to get that pairing out of the first part of this case (there's just... some stuff that happens... and LOL!). Larry's also there for added lulz.
I kinda want to hook Phoenix up with most of the ladies in these games regardless though... :o Multi-Ship FTW!I recharge after each segment of investigation and trial time. That way there is no fear of it going out in the middle of something crucial (and funny).
Edit: You should totally update your Backloggery with teh ghey lawyers. ;)

Date: 2008-03-31 05:53 pm (UTC)And no, this is not my favorite teacher, how could you tell?By the way, I totally envy you for playing Phoenix Wright! I've wanted to play that one for ages, but it only exists for DS, doesn't it? Well, not for your average PC anyway I guess...;__;

Date: 2008-04-01 08:43 am (UTC)... and then my mood also goes dreary along with the weather. ;_;
The Speckled Band... -goes off topic- ... is actually one of the very few Sherlock Holmes stories that I read and remember. XDD

Date: 2008-04-01 12:23 pm (UTC)Rain, for me, is usually the saving grace of a yucky gray day.
I rather liked the story--I was thinking something else for the how of the murder, so it was a fairly pleasant surprise \o/

Date: 2008-04-02 01:25 pm (UTC)Aah, I was really young when I first heard it though. I re-read it later on. I quite like the story too.
