It's raining again. According to the Weather Channel's website, it's supposed to rain all day. They said it wouldn't even let up to "light showers" until eight or nine tonight. I like the rain, though. It gives the day a good excuse for being gray and dreary. Now if only we could get some good thunder and lightning, I would be a most happy girl ^___^

I got Dad's Christmas present in yesterday. I realized that when they called it an "eighteen-pound hernia giver" on the site...they were serious. Because I bent to pick up the box and nearly pulled my arms out of their sockets. Holy cow, that's heavy...but it's nearly five thousand hard cover-bound pages worth of Far Side comicness, so I shall forgive it. Especially given that I paid half the retail price to get it \o/ *loves Amazon, oh yes I do*

And Fruits Basket volume nineteen should be in my hands today as well. I still say that it's sad that a brilliant series like that would spiral into melodramatic shoujo-ness, but it can't be helped. I will see it through to the end, and when I get the final volume, I will probably marathon-read it. I have my loyalties ^_~

...I think I'm going to order pizza tonight. I've been craving Pizza Hut like mad. And if there are leftovers, I will be doubly happy. Tonight, we splurge! And maybe finish the fifth case on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney so I can start on the next game.

I also finally got my Nintendo DS wifi working for Pokemon Diamond. I don't have my DS with me, so I can't post it here. But if anyone wants to exchange, we can. Poke me later, and we can exchange z(^o^)b

I'm almost done listening to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Next on my list are two other Holmes compilations. I'm planning on The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes next. I'm sort of amazed at how much I'm enjoying these ^___^

I'd heard that the Fruits Basket series had gotten a little silly. Have only seen the Anime, which despite Toru's annoying voice I thought was brilliant and couldn't stop watching. And of course the ending... I'm kinda curious on how the entire series ended too... Maybe one day I'll get off my lazy ass and find out. :)

It has. It went from a rather brilliant take on a lot of typical shoujo themes with a fun plot and some great characters...to typical shoujo melodramatic "everyone is falling in love with everyone else." The anime was brilliant, though. Am looking forward to the end of the manga, though I fear disappointment ^^;;

I need to figure out whatever is required to connect my DS to the nets. I haven't a clue. And I saw you mentioning that if you register your games you get stuff or something o.o

I just beat the second Phoenix Wright game! Mostly due to your posts reminding me I was right at the end and I hadn't. Kinda hard considering I forgot half of the case... But yeah, I wish we could like trade off games or something XD

That's the weird thing--I don't have wireless at my apartment. Got it at school, but I'm certainly not going to bring my DS to school! Yet I can still find a connection. I don't quite know why, but if you want I can walk you through the steps to see if you can hook up?

Huzzah! I need to finish the last case in the first game so I can move onto the second game. I WANT MORE EDGEY-POO! *shot*

I love the rain :3 When I was in college, that was our favorite time to go for walks. We'd go wandering in the rain, down to the lake...and we'd sit on the dock. Especially if there was thunder and lightning. That just made it more fun \o/

...but I'm so boring *gg*
