My dad is awesome~

Dad has been helping me look for job openings. He just fired me a note about a position open near my old hometown--ironically, it's the school where I did my Supervised Participation. The position is K-4 and 9-12, which is pretty nice. There's another one that's K-12. I have my certification for that, so it's a definite possibility.

...but I really had a hard time this morning. I've told one student that I won't be here next year, and she's sworn to secrecy. The only reason she knows is because she walked into my room while I was really upset. They don't know...which is why I had some difficulties during second period, where a bunch of my kids decided to tell me that I was their favorite teacher and that they loved me ♥

I'm going to miss those kids so much ;o;

I dunno...I'm starting to think this whole thing is weighing on me a lot more than I first thought. I lack my usual energy. I'm not motivated to do anything--that includes everything from cleaning and doing laundry to writing or playing video games. So...if anyone has some tips on how I can pull myself out of this little backslide, I take them gratefully.

Have a mentor meeting tonight, so I'll be home a bit later than usual. I might have forgotten to put up an away message on AIM again ^^;; I've been doing that a lot lately. Whoops. So if you message me and I don't answer...that's why. Sorry about that.

Been slowly doing a bit of writing here and there, though. I have probably four really short things scrawled out--I just need to type them up and post them. A couple of Professor Layton things and a few DC/MK stories.

Furuba volume nineteen is now mine. I'll probably save it to read tomorrow during middle school study hall.

Also, I look cute today. I'm having a really good hair day, and I love this shirt.

Awww, kids are the best. It's great that you had such a great rapport with them. Though it will be sad to leave them behind, you'll work with new kids who will love you just as much.

Well, I mean, it was a tough decision but you made one you thought was the best. I know you're going to feel that way for some time, but eventually you'll overcome it. And you can always visit those kids and laugh with them. Surround yourself with little, simple things that make you happy and you'll feel better. ♥
