Regarding summerwrite...

After giving it some careful thought, I think I've made my decision on summerwrite. I think I'm going to focus on my MKR epic and see if I can get it done/close to done.

My reasoning is pretty simple: I have been working on this trilogy of stories since the end of my freshmen year of college. That's a LONG time. They are extremely long fics, and I haven't been giving them much attention lately in favor of my other projects and fandoms. I want to get them done or as close to done as possible.

I have all my notes and things organized. I just need to do the outlines for them before May 1st hits. Hopefully, this will not be too terribly difficult a task. The second fic in the trilogy is a good two-thirds done, and I know a fair amount of what will happen in the third one.

I'm also intending to try and write the last chapter of The New World in there somewhere and get it done. That'll be a nice chunk towards my word count. Wrap up a couple of projects in the next four months. That is my goal. So as of May 1st, most everything else will be more or less on hold. Might scribble out something here and there, but my focus is going back on my poor, neglected stories.

My shins still hurt ;o; Wish they would stop. Hopefully it'll go away in a few days.

And finally, I have a roast at home in the crock-pot. Dinner shall be delicious tonight :D

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say, but I have no idea what it was. So I'll leave this off here. Break time is over. Back to work. I'm going to go through this huge stack o' papers on my desk z(^o^)b

A chapter a week is waaaaay more than what I'm currently doing - still have 5-6 more fics to go on 30Kisses (egads!) and I haven't made much progress. Granted, it's Finals coming up and all, but wooooeee. T^T
