Obligatory babble
May. 4th, 2008 10:35 pmI was lazy today. Like, to the point where I was borderline APPALLED at myself. Need to get off my butt and do things! *doesn't move right now--too late to accomplish much of anything*
Tomorrow is back to school. More Phantom for the middle schoolers. Wonder where we'll stop... *cackles* I know it's horrible, but I take great amusement from it all. I would love it if one day we stopped right after the Phantom's mask gets tugged off! THE SCREAMS! :D :D :D *is a horrible, horrible person*
I chatted with my mom on IM for a bit today. She actually used the word "monies." I love my mom.
We did have a serious discussion for a bit...I feel bad making her and dad worry so much. But as we were talking, I realized something. If I'm living with the 'rents for a couple of months this summer, I won't have to pay rent or utilities or food. Just student loans. And I assume I'll be getting paid through the end of my contract.
Translation: I can really get some saved up this summer. Pad my savings. Maybe put a little extra towards my student loans.
My mom pointed something interesting out to me--last time I looked at my one student loan statement, it said that of my $280.36 payment...a whopping TWENTY-TWO BUCKS went towards the principle. (Y HALO THAR, REALITY. YOU HURT.) So according to my mother, who is actually really good at math...if I send them an extra two hundred and sixty bucks some month, I will have theoretically taken a YEAR off my payment period.
[/boring talk]
summerwrite continues to go well. I broke 10,000 words today (on day four, whee!), and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Since I have the choir concert on Tuesday and won't have a lot of free time, I'm actually writing my Tuesday entry NOW. It's almost to the minimum word-count. Then I can toss it up on Tuesday, and I am covered for the day, whee! \o/
...nope, I continue to be boring.

Ehehe...I swore I would not ship Phoenix/Edgeworth. And then I played case four of the first game. And I realized that it's not so much subtext as...a brick. That they drop on your foot. So yeah, insofar as I've played, I do ship Phoenix/Edgeworth and Klavier/Apollo XD We'll see what I think when I play more ^^;;
