This is, what, the umpteenth time that I've been woken up at four o'clock in the morning by a muscle in my leg cramping up? GRR! This time it's my right leg, mid-calf. I swear I didn't even move this time, it just happened while I was lying there, half-awake. I vaguely remember curling up and pushing on the offending part of my leg...and the pain went away. Until I pulled my hand back. Then the hurtings came back D:

So now I'm half-limping, but it's already better than it was this morning, when I could barely put any weight on that leg. Once I'm up and walking around, I'll be fine soon enough. It's just annoying, ya know? And it keeps happening, and I don't know why!

Next couple of nights are going to be a little bit busy. I was wiped out yesterday, so I didn't go to the store. That was probably a mistake, if only because I really need laundry quarters. Maybe I'll bounce over there today, before the music banquet...I'll be gone for a good chunk of the evening, around dinnertime, for the banquet.

My parents gave me the second season of Numb3rs for Valentine's Day. I'm finally getting around to watching it XD I have all three seasons on DVD, and eagerly want more. I do love that show. The last episode I watched was really awesome--it involved a psychic, and...well, my complete and total adoration of any and all things supernatural is not a secret ^_~ But yeah--I hate math, and yet I love sitting there and letting them talk nerdy to me 8D

And on [livejournal.com profile] summerwrite...I broke twenty-five thousand words *faints* BROKE IT ALONG WITH MY BRAIN!!

It'd be kind of awesome if I could make 30K by Thursday, as Thursday marks the end of week two/the beginning of week three on the challenge. To achieve that, I'd have to crank out approximately 1666 words for the next three days. It's not impossible... *stares at various plunnies* I think I can do it~ But if not...oh well *shrug*

Aww, sorry for your owwies, dear. Leg cramps are horrible, especially in the middle of the night when they always happen.

I just wish I knew if there was a reason that it was happening, ya know? So if there was, I could do something to prevent it. Someone suggested dehydration...

Ehehe...more like I need cheerleaders XD [livejournal.com profile] lwyn has been keeping me on track and on task and up with my minimum word count every night. Probably the only reason I'm this far ahead.

Congratulations on the 25, 000 word break! I really hope your legs/back will be ok. It almost sounds like you need a chiropractor and those can be pricey. D:

Leg cramping sucks. It could be stress or like you said dehydration or something :/ If you have time, I'd talk to your doctor, pain like that could be a blockage of some kind *has watched too many medical shows* ^^; I'm sure I'm over thinking XD

Someone suggest that it was dehydration... :S But I usually drink a lot of Kool-Aid and stuff before bed, since that's when I'm at my computer working on stuff and I need to have something to drink...

Most of the suggestions are either to drink fluids or eat bananas XD I appreciate the suggestions, though. Maybe I will look for bananas when I go to the store next.

Augh, leg and foot cramps happened to me a lot, and I'm now paranoid that they'll keep on happening. It freaking hurts X( But! I have learned that when I go to sleep, sleeping on my side for too long or in a position where I'm putting weight on top of a leg, is a no no, because it sort of... doesn't let the blood flow as well? So I tend to sleep on my stomach mostly la la la. I hope you stop having them 8(b

Maybe you pulled a tendon or a muscle or something... It happens to me sometimes, too...Bad circulation can also result in cramps... Uhm, drink some vitamins...and magnesium is also good for muscle cramps. *hugs*

I'm not sure--it's a day later now, and there's a very small ache when I walk, but otherwise, it's okay now. Feels like a pulled muscle should hurt longer... :S

i used to get leg muscle cramps all the time too!! I suggest drinking more water (not kool-aid, the sugar defeats the purpose), and next time you're at a walmart, look in the vitamin supplement isle for potassium. That ended up being my problem. I dont like bananas, but I take a potassium vitamin every other day or so.
