Holy cow, I actually slept in today 0.0 And by sleeping in, I mean I woke up at eight AM. That's pretty unusual for me... *hates body for waking me up at ungodly hours on a regular basis*

So yesterday, I did manage to more or less accomplish everything on my to-do list! *does a jig and makes a face at [livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi because I PWNED YOU* The bathroom is packed up save for essentials. The only non-furniture things still out in the living room are my knitting and the plants.

Here's hoping that today is equally as productive, yes \o/ I think it actually does help me to post my to-do list here because I'll feel stupid if I don't get anything checked off XD In other words, YOU ARE ALL HELPING ME GET MY APARTMENT PACKED UP BY SIMPLY READING MY LJ, WHEE!

So today's list is:

~ Shower
~ Get dinner in the crock-pot

~ Pack up the kitchen: A) Dishes (plates, bowls, etc.), mugs, glasses, silverware; B) Casserole dishes, baking pans/sheets, mixing bowls; C) Small appliances; D) Non-perishable food items
~ Put the rest of the laundry away.
~ Get the bookshelf and DVD rack packed up.
~ Clean off the desk.

ETA: About ten seconds after I posted, I decided that I really didn't want to go to Ottumwa today. So I'm going to do that tomorrow, and instead I just gave myself a couple more specific jobs to do here.

SON OF ETA: So...I divvied up the kitchen stuff into sections so I could cross things off and maybe at least FEEL like I'm making progress ^^;; PLAY PRETEND WITH ME, Y/Y?

Also...I have been thinking about getting a laptop. Nothing too fancy or expensive, of course--I certainly don't need fancy. But just something nice and portable. I looked at one on the Dell website that seemed decent. I'm just not sure yet.

All right! Off I go into the world!

As evil as...GIN'S HAIR? *dun dun dun*

I dunno...my desktop is a Dell, and it's been a pretty good little computer D: Besides, the other major factor is price. Because I'm poor, ya know?

Dell is NOT GOOD DX so many problems with it... =_='

Dell is cheap, because it is cheap @_@ I'd go with Toshiba (or a brand like that) because its good for the price. (I only payed like 400 for my current one (which you've used))

Then again :X its your choice not mine ^^:

Blergh. I don't like Dell. As for Toshiba,...blergh as well. I currently have a Toshiba (as does the sister and a couple of friends) and yeah it's a laptop but they have major overheating problems. We've all dealt with the same issue. I literally could not have that thing in my lap for longer than ten minutes without barbecuing my lap. I use a lap desk and it still feels pretty hot.
