...wow. An update that doesn't consist of straight emo!

So...I have an interview tomorrow. For an elementary position, right here in town. Wish I didn't feel like I was already hosed out of the job because apparently ye olde resume did not make it to their hands, so they were trying to call our house number, which no longer exists--we all use our cell phones. So...yeah. Confidence is rather shot at the moment.

And then when I spoke to the principal of the school in question, she said to come prepared to teach a 10-15 minute lesson plan, so...I'm having a bit o' a spaz attack right now, but I'm okay. For the moment. She said to plan on going from 9:30 to around eleven-ish @_@ Long interview is long... *worryworryworry*

I've been doing some icon cycling again--already decided that a few I uploaded are not necessary, and will be removing them to make room for ones I like better :D And I did a little tally yesterday. For the first time in a very, very long time, the greatest number of my fandom icons are not DC/MK. PW/AJ have snatched that crown away from our beloved shrunken detective. THREE CHEERS FOR THE SLASH-IN-THE-NAME FANDOMS! *SHOT*

It's been so long...I'd really forgotten how tough it can be to crack into a new fandom. That's after going on four years playing with Shinichi and Kaito and them. But I'm enjoying it, and the people are awesome. Just wish I had the nerve to comment more, but it'll come. Sooner or later. Just gotta get settled into it all. And keep my fingers crossed for Perfect Prosecutor, and maybe GS5 because glkjsl;djgaljg Apollo is loooooove...

I also need to clear out some of the LJ comms I don't visit anymore...and also do some writing. I just haven't been in the mood lately, and I think it ties in with my current mental state of "ME VS. THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD IS WINNING BY A K.O." Just need to keep my chin up.

I had a mango raspberry milkshake from McDonald's today. YUMMMMMMMM!!

Also, this might be one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. Seriously--it's amazing. And...well, also one of my favorite pairings, to be honest. But I am loving the contest on kyodoroki because of these awesome fanworks. And sort of selfishly glad that there's two separate categories for art and fic because there is no way in hell I could ever dream of competing with that, holy crap.

All right, time to...I dunno. Something. Mebbie.

...I think I just made it through an entire entry without mentioning kaitodoushi in context 0.0 Wow.

I get what you mean about entering new fandoms... I mean, I never do more than just fleetingly comment here on there in Ace Attorney fandom, because it's so big and everyone's so goddamn good, feels like I have nothing to bring to the table, yanno? XD

Actually...I don't think Ace Attorney is *that* big of a fandom. Not compared to some of the others I've seen, at least. But it IS extremely active, which creates the illusion of ZOMG HUGE. And hey! *bonks you* Dun say that! You is awesome!

Well, it's definitely a 'cult' fandom compared to the bigger gaming fandoms... I guess it's because all the other fandoms in are so tiny, it looks so big in comparison! *is bonked* Thank you miss X3 ♥

I will agree on that point... *plots to write something new for Professor Layton because I haven't for a while* Compared to, say, Kingdom Hearts? It's itty-bitty. Compared to Layton? It's bleepin' ENORMOUS. *shoulders mallet* I do what I can~

ME THREE! I am hopelessly in love with Apollo/Klavier, and...well, I still can't say exactly why XDD That's very good to know. Because now that I think about it, it's done it to my best friend, with whom I am playing these lovely games~

I have to admit I kind of freeze at the thought of an interview. 8D I start blathering all sorts of things and I'm just not that good with one-on-one things unless I psyche myself out to thinking I have the upper hand. Better to think I'm the one holding the ladder than the one climbing it, right? Good luck though! I'm sure you'll do fine!

I haven't actively entered a fandom in years. Actually, I can't recall any fandom other than Shaman King and even then I was less of a participant and more of a "Hey you like Mankin? So do I!" thing. Oh wait no, I used to write quite a lot for the Inuyasha fandom though I can't say I was really part of it... I've never liked the idea of being in a fandom, though I can't say why. Probably because I go against the grain 98% of the time~ All I'd like out of a fandom is really just someone to talk about the show with since I have very little confidence in things I do. 8Db I'VE RAMBLED HAVEN'T I. *HEADDESK*
