Commence the babble-age~

candylandOkay. So I have never been so happy to be an idiot in my life.
A few nights ago--on Thursday, I think it was--I was talking to a couple of people (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
magicbulletgirl and aishuu, I believe), and I was freaking out about money worries. I'd done some figuring of my student loan payments as opposed to what I'm earning at the store, and I thought I was barely breaking even--which left nothing for gas or car insurance or the occasional purchase of something shiny. So I was freaking out and worried and thinking about getting a second job.
Then while I was driving home from work on Saturday, I had a mini-epiphany. I realized that I'd figured this off of two weeks worth of work, i.e. one paycheck. I get paid every two weeks, i.e. twice a month. I'd forgotten to double it.

On a slightly related matter, there's a shiny little toy I've had my eye on for a while now. And I had sort of promised myself that I was going to save up and if I beat![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
summerwrite, I could get one. Well, I did, and after a quick glance at my finances, I realized that I could afford it. Soooooo I have ordered me an AlphaSmart! It sounds like an awesome little machine, and I can't wait to get it in my hot little hands :D :D :D
Oh, and soclover_magic finally talked me into giving Shugo Chara a watch. I think I might be hooked, and I'm only a few episodes in. It's seriously awesome, it has a different feel than the average shoujo (even though there's a plethora of freakishly adorable chibis running around everywhere), and I hereby decree that everyone should watch it :D :D :D
