My Thoughts

Never really thought of myself as a peacemaker in the traditional sense, I s'pose. But I agree with a couple of things: for one thing, I love good hugs ^__^ I really, really do. I usually feel inadequate, whether that's true or not, and I'm extremely insecure about a lot of things. I don't mix well with criticisms or failure, either.

I also tend to hold things in--a lot more than even most of my friends realize. One of them once told me that it was weird to see me frown, and I should always smile. I asked if that was true, even if the smile was fake? He didn't seem to have answer, like he was shocked that I would ever force a smile on my face. There's one thing in particular that's causing me a lot of anger and hurt, but I'm just doing what I always do, going about life with a smile on my face and a spring in my step. To quote my favorite fandom, "Never forget Poker Face."

Called Hy-Vee earlier to make sure I'll still have a job this summer. This is proof of how desperate I truly am for a paycheck, I'm willing to go back to work in that hellhole there. Bah, humbug. Hopefully, it will once again provide me with lots and lots of fun-slash-weird work stories to share with you lovely LJ-type people ^_^
