candylandBetween having Mamboleo, Danjo, and (oddly enough) Bring Honor to Us All stuck in my head all day, it's a wonder that much got accomplished at work today. Because I swear, it was like, "Making a pizza? MUST HUM DANJO. Looking for something in the cooler? SING HONOR TO US ALL TO SELF. Doing...pretty much everything else? MAMBO-MAMBOLEO."
...though I suppose that's better than yesterday when the Song in My Head was Enormous Penis.
Mother Nature decided to just kinda slap us all in the face at long last, by dropping the temperature down to the single digits or lower (ah, negative temperatures~), and making the wind chill at one point a lovely and balmy twenty-seven degrees below zero! AND we had snow! That was then blowing around! YAY! Remember, when it hits five hundred degrees below zero, Hell freezes over, and Iowa public schools get a two hour late start.
I had two meals with my family today. My sister managed to make a big scene at both of them by flying off the handle at me when I was answering questions for my parents OR trying to explain to them who she was talking about so they could follow her story. Apparently, answering Dad's questioning look with "So-and-so was a student at BV" and a bit of a follow-up explanation constitutes interrupting her and trying to steal her spotlight.
Finished one rather large fic, and am currently editing it and beginning to post it non-anon because I had a fantastic time writing it and want to have it archived. Now if I could just get the plot bunnies to stop demanding extremely long multi-chaptered cliche-ridden angst!fic, I'd be all set~
