All righty. So I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the LJ layoffs thingie (too lazy to go find a link). I just backed up all my entries again. Figure it can't hurt, although I highly doubt that they'll just sweep the site out from under all of us. Buuuut just in case...

Anyway...

The bathroom renovations began today. I cannot tell you how happy it made me to come home and see that god-awful blue vanity sitting in the garage. MY BATHROOM IS FREE OF THAT STAINED MONSTROSITY. Seriously, it wasn't even a pretty blue (well, would have been pretty if, say, a shirt was that color, but NOT IN A BATHROOM). My bathroom is completely gutted right now. Tile, vanity, toilet, ALL GOOOOOOOONE. Haven't looked upstairs in the master bathroom yet.

What this means is that there will be three of us sharing a bathroom for at least a few days. Fortunately, Mom and Dad and I are fairly sure that this will be just fine for the three of us. If my sister were home, we'd have problems. She even agreed. Because she spends more time in the bathroom than the rest of us COMBINED.

I beat Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia yesterday. The basic game, at least. Now to do the rest of the stuff so I can totally revel in my nerdiness by having a completed Browser and stuff. And I played a bit more of Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. I still suck at that game XDD

Going along on springwrite. Should break 10K tonight, yay fun awesome.

And finally, I think I managed to write a fic on the Layton meme and still be anonymous! ...or no one was reading it. Ya know. Either way XDD Will be de-anon-ing on stuff at some point, but not for a while XD

Did you try to hide that it was you by writing differently? It wasn't like your usual writing style.

And, I was curious, how did you know how a drug addiction was like? It felt really realistic.

...if it did seem different, it actually wasn't intentional. I just wrote it as it came to me 0.0

I actually just picked a drug (figured opium worked well enough for the time period) and then hit Google and did a little research on the effects of it. That's really all there was to it. Glad it came across as realistic! ♥♥♥
