Last night I was chattering at [livejournal.com profile] ammchan, and a thought occurred to me. Shocking, but it does happen from time to time :B And I started wondering if what I was doing in terms of diet and weight loss have actually been having any effect. I also kind of wanted to make sure that at the very least, I haven't gained anything. So first thing this morning I hopped on the bathroom scale to take a gander.

And if the scale is to be believed, I'm down six pounds.

Commence the jumping up and down and squealing and clapping of hands! ...well, after I got off the scale, I mean. No sense in breaking the poor thing, especially when it's the bringer of good news :D

I'm also on day two of no soda. While I admit that I miss my Mountain Dew, it's...really not as hard as I thought it would be to cut that stuff out. Instead, I've been drinking a lot more tea. Turns out out we've got a lot of different tea flavors in the cabinet. I'm going to try them all! \o/

So now here's my to-do list for today~

- Treadmill
- Clean room
- Laundry
- Finish organizing the bathroom

- Write
- Get word counts reported for [livejournal.com profile] springwrite


...pointless post is pointless, but I'm excited, and I wanted to share, and posting my to-do lists here tends to have a better chance of them actually getting done, so off I go! *scurries off for a morning jog*

True, true~ I've been doing some research to try and make sure that the changes I'm making are relatively healthy ones. Changes in diet, not eating so much, exercising more...I'm actually sort of enjoying it :D

Hey, the rules of healthy living apply to guys as much as girls \o/ Thanks for the support!
