Dear coworker:

No. I will not once again rearrange my entire schedule because you decided (or were somehow forced) to stay out of town for an extra day. I don't know the details, and they really don't matter. I have already moved my normal weekly routine around for you. I am not doing it again.

I have already been hauling The Annoying One all over town as a favor to you, and I am now sacrificing the one day this week that I could actually sleep in to once again go pick her up and listen to her shrill "Good moooorning!" That voice (along with her dolphin-laugh) could break glass.

Furthermore, since she has shown absolutely no respect for my schedule and my time (as evidenced by the fact that when I told her no, that was not a convenient time for me and I really couldn't come get her at that time, she more or less told me that yes I could and closed the car door), I am really in no hurry to spend another day in her presence. Nor am I particularly eager to offer any further assistance with the giving of rides.

And if I were to do this, that would put me at work for nine days in a row. I NEED A BREAK. Also, I already have plans and a whole list of things to do. So please find someone else to cover it because contrary to what you apparently think sometimes, I do have a life and things that I do outside of work.

Thank you,
~ Me

...MOVING ON! :D

Tomorrow is my free day this week, and I have plans of the...well, the solo variety ^^;; (Did that sound dirty? I think it might have. Oh well!) It's really nothing of huge consequence, but it should be fun~ Plans are pretty simple:

~ Give the Annoying One a ride (kill me, please.)
~ Work out
~ Barnes and Noble (new PW manga, whee!)
~ Go to the library (according to [livejournal.com profile] aishuu, we should all read the Darkangel trilogy, so I'm going to give that a look, along with some dietary books that [livejournal.com profile] chassysaweirdo suggested to me)
~ Lunch at Panera (I need to use their wifi ^^)
~ Haircut

Okay, that last one is giving me some problems. I know I need a haircut--at the very least, a trim--but I have no idea what to do with my hair. I sort of like having it long enough to pull into a ponytail (especially since I'm working out), but at the same time...I don't know.

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm sort of leaning towards a trim, maybe a couple of layers...and I'm seriously toying with the idea of swoop-bangs. Problem with those is that if you don't do something with them, they are incredibly annoying~ *ponders* ...I DON'T KNOOOOOW ;o;

Oh, and Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire might be one of my new favorite songs ♥

You know I have EXCELLENT taste. I don't think I've hooked you on anything since DGM, so it's overdue. ^_~

It certainly makes me want to dance at random train platforms. I LOVE YOU DEV PATEL.

I thought O Saya was more awesome/inventive/well-made though, although Jai Ho is catchier.

Agreed~ I've decided that I must see this movie at some point :D

O Saya was really good too. But Jai Ho...I listened to it this morning before work, and was singing it to myself aaaaall day. That's the mark of a fun, catchy song ^___^

:3 If you show a picture of yourself I can give a hairstyle suggestion. I dabble in cutting hair. . .unprofessionally but I do cut my friends and family's hair as well as my own and haven't a complaint.

P-prepare to be blinded, but here. (http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/Candyland1030/THEHAIR.jpg) It's from New Year's, and I'd just flat-ironed *pokes fingers together*

Ah so your hair is naturally wavy or curly? Do you straighten it most all the time?

Naturally kind of wavy. A lot of the time it winds up shoved back in a ponytail (for work and working out), but if I'm going out or something, then I usually flat-iron. But I'm open to suggestions!

I think bangs would look nice on you- I like the idea or layered side swept bangs. And layers framing your face would look good with it too. :3

Bangs can be kind of annoying at times. XD In case you don't know already but when I had them with long hair (my hair is short now) I always just clipped them back. :3

I did side-swept, and took a couple of inches off and kept the long layers :D The bangs are long enough to tuck behind my ear, which is always a good thing for me :)

Do you charge gas money when you give her a ride? If you don't start. Even use the old hippie saying while you do it: "Gas, ass, or grass, nobody gets a free ride."

Considering the fact that you do work out ac lot, I would keep the hair at shoulder length, and if you already have layers, let them grow out. Layers are nice and pretty if you have naturally wavy or curly hair, because they give you a poof. Otherwise, it's kinda like... good job, you got layers. Now enjoy having them be a pain in the butt when you have to put your hair up.

Alas, bangs make you look so much cuter, but I've never seen anyone ask for side bangs at work (I work at supercuts ^^) But we do get the whole "I WANT BANGS" thing, especially with the teenagers. Everyone leaves happy, and I'm actually considering getting them myself. Be forewarned. They will make you look so much cuter than you are now. So it's not really for the "sexy" look, unless you straighten them. If you let them be, they'll just make your face look cuter. From what I've seen, anyway. I've worked out with bangs before, and I was surprised to find that they don't bother me at all. It's when they're at that IN BETWEEN length when you let them grow a bit too long. That gets so annoying ;-;

I took two inches off, kept the layers, and added swoop bangs that are long enough to tuck behind my ears :D It needs to be flat-ironed, but I think I'm happy with it!

I agree with mitoko on letting the layers grow out. I am currently having the pull up the layers and tons of clippies to keep them in place battle. I'm also battling with my growing out bangs in the same manner. Unless you like putting a ton of clippies in your hair.

You know that problem you posted about a bit ago. The whole weight gain. Yeah, I feel ya as I'm currently in the same boat. Granted I don't do the flow thing thanks to the shot, but I still go through the whole up and down weight thing.

And yay for things of the solo variety...;p

I think it's all long enough to pull back still--actually, even before I got it cut, the front pieces didn't always like to stay in the ponytail. I just learned to deal with it and keep going. So I'm pretty happy \o/

Yes, indeed. Solo things are lovely ^_~

*Delurks* If you're looking for a new book series to get into, I would suggest the Young Wizard's series.

It came out prior to Harry Potter, so it's not a rip-off. Plus, it has a FAR more scientific version of wizardry in it. The characters are great and lovable, and the author has a great sense of humor. (I love where Dairine is being snippy towards a guest in the seventh book, and thinks "I'm sorry Powers That Be, I haven't had my breakfast and it's that pesky blood sugar again...")

The first book in the series is 'So, You Want To Be A Wizard' by Diane Duane, if you're interested.
