candylandFirst up: I can has new haircut! (The author of this LJ bears no responsibility for anyone who goes blind T_T)
I wound up keeping it a lot like I had it--took off about two inches, fixed up the layers, and added the bangs. The part angling across my forehead was not there before. Flat-ironing done by me upon my arrival at home. Also, my eyebrows are now person-sized :D
I think my Nintendo DS is dying. Which is actually okay, because I was planning to have a new one be the one major splurge of my tax refund. Now it's just a question of which color to get--I'm leaning towards red. I thought about silver, but it looks more gray than silver.
This morning I hopped on the scale in my bathroom. It showed me as having passed the thirty pound mark--a HUGE jump from a couple days ago. Disbelieving, I went upstairs to check the scale there. SIX POUND DIFFERENCE. I tried again this afternoon, and there was the same difference between the two.
At my mom's suggestion, I took one of my five-pound handweights (since I know how much those weigh) and tried it on the scale. The one in my bathroom weighed it as 4.6, while the one upstairs would not register the weight at all. So that gives me an idea of where the scale downstairs sits, at least...although I still can't believe the number I got this morning, although it was a very pretty number XD

kaitodoushi and I will be on the train to Illinois, whee!
Kat and I went to Barnes and Noble to get the new Ace Attorney manga--it just came out yesterday. And, of course, they only had one copy. We wound up flipping a coin. Kat won ;o; BUT I WILL HAVE IT EVENTUALLY! IT WILL BE MINE! *fist shake of righteous indignation*
Otherwise...went to the library. Picked up the Darkangel trilogy on the recommendation of the lovely and talentedaishuu. Which reminds me that I should write those next five fandoms for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
100fandomhell, oddly enough ^_~ A lovely lurker recommended another series, but the first book was checked out ;o;
...I have this sudden weird urge to watch both the Wall·E and the Spongebob movie. Yes, I own that. Don't judge me.
