candyland: (DO NOT WANT)

...was not quite as hellish as I had thought it would be, but it still won't make my list of Favorite Work Days. That list mostly consists of the Fourth of July (because we normally close really early) and Christmas Eve (when we closed REALLY early). Oh, and the day those three stoners came in, just because it's one of those stories that I can still tell and get laughs.

I got there at seven-thirty AM, having decided that breakfast was more important than getting to work right at seven. Yummy toast with yummy peanut butter and yummy caffeine shot cup of turtle sundae-flavored coffee ♥ But Manager was just getting down there as I arrived, so we made pizzas on all the crusts we had. Then I did some other housekeeping stuff while we waited for the rest of our supplies.

Long story short, Manager and I more or less docked crusts and made pizzas almost non-stop for the entire eight and a half hours I was there. He took his lunch hour, and I sat down for maybe fifteen minutes to wolf down some chicken fried rice (at that point it was one o'clock and I had not eaten since seven, so I was prepared to eat anything they put in front of me), and then I went right back to doing stuff. We were barely keeping up for most of the day.

Between the two of us, we docked four cases of crusts (that's one hundred and sixty crusts), and when I left, we had made pizzas on all but...maybe thirty of them? Plus the thirty-ish crusts we'd had to start with. We started placing bets on when they would run out tonight. My bet was on six o'clock PM, at the absolute latest.

And then apparently I am now JL's personal chauffeur, because I wound up having to take her home--again. During the drive, she proceeded to tell me that she thinks we're very much alike (OH HELLS NO), and drop not-so-subtle hints as to her dream that I should date and/or marry Manager.

And that was my day at work in a nutshell~

After I got home, I wound up talking to Mom for a while, then she and Dad went grocery shopping. I usually go with them, but I was so tired tonight that I stayed home. I intended to work out, but...I wound up dozing for about ten minutes instead XD

So I just did the level one workout on 30 Day Shred. I can more or less do that entire workout without stopping now, which probably means that I should start making level two my regular workout. I'm actually thinking I might go back out and do level two still tonight--weigh-in today had me finally hitting the twenty-pound mark! Down six from last week! \o/ And five more pounds, and I'll have dropped ten percent, which makes me happy :D

Twelve days until Illinois! I want to get a bigger purse before we go, because bigger purse equals more space to carry stuff :3 I'm usually a really lousy girl--don't care too much about clothes, not interested in shoes, couldn't care less about makeup, but GIVE ME PURSES! THEY ARE MY GIRLY WEAKNESS!

Otherwise...[livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi! Ping me when you get home/online, if you do! *blows kisses*

Neat! My bangs don't like to stay in a ponytail, so I've had to workout with a bandanna tied around the front of my head like a headband to keep my hair out of my eyes *laugh*

Those sound so cool!
