Coming clean about this...

I have a confession to make, everyone. I did something shameful yesterday.

I tried to resist, but it was just too powerful. And before I knew what had happened, it had sucked me in. And no matter how hard I tried to fight it, I couldn't escape. So...I went along with it. Because once it gets you, it's hard to break free. Yes, that's right.

...yesterday, I marathoned eight of the Pokemon movies.

Next up, I expect to find myself watching old episodes of Power Rangers ^___^

I watched the original when WB aired it a couple of years ago. It's pretty lulzworthy on its own, but YGO Abridged has pretty much screwed that one forever and ever. In a good way.

Agreed times over nine thousand XDD Granted, a lot of dubs bring the lulz in various epic manners. That's part of the fun ^___^

*laughs* Yes. I think the reason why is because the original is fundamentally dorky, it just sounds more important with subtitles. Although the ADV dub of Gatchaman is deliberately stupid.

However, I'm not supposed to laugh hysterically when Mokuba get kidnapped. Again.

Subtitles seem more official, somehow~ Oh--have you ever heard of Ghost Stories? It's another ADV dub that's messed up on purpose. All the voice actors have writing credits because they actually improvised half their lines :D It's great!

It's one of those things that just needs to be laughed at. Believe it! *brick'd*

They are~ I was really surprised at how good Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was. Like, I might have to make Kat watch it.

I've seen a few and that was one of them. It had some things about it I really enjoyed. Some of it was quite cliche but cliches can be enjoyed.

One thing I will give the Pokemon movies--they tend to have some fairly good music in them. And yeah, there are cliches, and they all sort of follow the same basic plotline (legendary appear, legendary is in trouble/destroying crap, Ash saves the day in a manner that may or may not involve him getting himself killed). But it's mindless fun if you don't take it to seriously.

Power Rangers! I had a dream not that long ago that they made Power Rangers in to a big musical! LOL

My cousins are coming in to town this weekend and they are bring me a few Pokemon games to play for the week! SO I will get to play two of them!!!

Power Rangers rock! If you want crack, watch season 1. If you want something that actually approaches good acting and storytelling, go with Space. Then Season 2. Then maybe Lost Galaxy, and Time Force. If you can handle having your emotions jerked, definitely get your hands on the Lost Galaxy/Power Rangers in Space crossover two-parter!

...would you believe that when I pulled Power Rangers out of the air, I actually thought of you? :D God, I used to rush home every day after school to watch that show...and I saw the movie in the theatre XDD

I saw BOTH movies in the theater. And own them on DVD. And can expound at length on why Movie 1 is better as a movie and Movie 2 is better as a piece of actual Power Rangers.
