Weight loss update~

candylandSlightly more self-centered (and thus, more boring) post now, but...
I weighed in again today, and I was down a little over a pound, yay fun! I've lost twenty-seven pounds since January 14th so far. The last weigh-in is on April 24th, which is three weeks from today.
Going into this, I really didn't have a goal because I didn't know how well it was going to go. But now that I'm sort of in the home stretch, I'm going to set a goal for myself, though I won't berate myself too badly if I don't make it. It would just be a nice end to the challenge.
If I can reach the thirty-eight pound mark, I will have passed my fifteen percent mark. That's about 10-11 pounds (too lazy to figure in the decimals right now), which roughly equals out to about four pounds a week until it's over.
I think I can do it, I really do! It will just take a lot of working out--going to shoot for at least an hour a day from here on out with strength training and cardio. Although I must admit to having a bit of a love-hate relationship with cardio, because it tends to involve lots of jumping around. And I have boobs.
But yeah, we'll see where I end up.
The reason I keep posting about all of this here (when I'm sure some of you are sick of hearing about it) is because you guys have been so awesomely supportive and encouraging, and I really do want to make it down to a healthy weight for my height, for a lot of reasons. Talking about it here is helping me stay motivated. So thank you guys so much for being so awesome and giving me so much encouragement *hugs every single one of you*
...in random news, I just sneezed eight times in a row, I'm not even kidding o.O
Oh, and we're in for a blizzard tomorrow night. I've heard three inches of snow an hour, and I've also heard anywhere from nine to fourteen inches of snow. Dad says he's sure we'll get at least a foot of the white stuff. So yeah, this should be interesting. Iowa weather, you so unpredictable.
