Apologies for the double post, but I have to share something.

I know it's been going around the internet, but if you have not yet seen the video of Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent, then please. Go take a moment and watch it now.

I got tears in my eyes the first time I watched it when she started to sing. Your dream is to be like Elaine Paige? Chase it! Grab it! Take it!

I believe this is a situation of what the kids used to call IN YOUR FACE. And I hope she does well in the competition, because she deserves it. It's just so happymaking to see something like this, ya know? :D

My little sister showed me this video today, and I was blown away. The lady can sing, and she pwned everyone in the audience that day!

....I think I was kind of in an emotional mode when I pressed play 'cause damnit, I started sobbing about a minute into the song. That was brilliant, although I was most touched by her guts and yes, that was a star, right there. Can you imagine being at that age and point in life, willing yourself to stand on that stage, with your lifelong dream laid open to mockery?

And standing ovation, yes! Those losers caught on camera rolling their eyes just got themselves served.

I know! I was tearing up a lot when I watched her the first time. When I told my dad about it, he said the same thing. And I'm as impressed by her voice as by the fact that she took the risk and walked out there with her head held high and showed no fear. Go, Susan, go!

I hope she wins the show (what is it anyway? I'm in Italy..) because she deserves it.
Besides.... Did you see the people who were making faces at her at the beginning? I wonder if their mouths just dropped to the ground when she performed.

She's fantastic!

This is Britain's Got Talent in the UK. And I do hope she takes the whole thing. I don't know what the prize is in the UK, but the winner of the American version wins a million dollars and headlines a show in Vegas.

I think a lot of the audience did what the female judge did. Jaw went clunk onto the floor ♥

She's got talent, and she's got the passion for it. You can feel what she's singing. That is the difference between a singer and a performer. She is a performer, and a damned good one at that ♥♥♥
