The alphabet meme is still open! I'll be writing most/all of them tomorrow and Monday, so if you've got a thought, go ahead and post! (
chassysaweirdo? I don't know Mother 3 ;o; I sorry, bb...)
I worked today. Was thinking about making a post ranting about how much JL drives me up a wall sometimes, but then I remembered that this is a woman who A) thinks it is perfectly decent customer service to tell the customer that it is HIS FAULT that the food didn't taste good, and then be all bewildered as to why he was upset when he left, and B) thinks that "You're so pretty...but you'refat big," is a compliment (and yes, she said that to me).
In the end, all things considered, I'm starting to think that I'm being too harsh on her. After all, the evidence has shown that expecting anything other than moon logic from this woman is an exercise in futility. I almost want to live in her world sometimes. I imagine that the hallucinogens are top-notch.
Oh, and yesterday's story was that the plan was always to move a new manager in and move me to another department. Quite a change from the previous tale, eh? I have officially stopped listening. As if I needed another reason. This was on top of her lecturing me that my first shift there next Friday is actually a test, and I'd better do well so they decide they want to keep me *koff*
And now, some happy things!
I have passed the thirty pound mark, as of weigh-in on Friday morning! :D Last weigh-in is next week. I'm probably going to keep mentioning it here as a weekly thing, if only to keep myself going and motivated. It'll just be on Fridays, probably. Ph34r my boring ^^;;
On a related note, on the advice of a couple of people I did some measuring of my pants. If I measured correctly, I have dropped around four inches-ish in the waist. And I'm finally noticing a difference in my torso. It's sort of sad, really. I am wearing smaller pants. My shirts are getting looser (in the stomach area--certain other frontal aspects of me are not shrinking quite so much). I'm dropping pounds. But none of these told me.
Instead, it took me having to start hooking my bras on the middle hook instead of the last one for me to realize that my torso is losing girth ^_^ *fails at life, receives boot to the head now*
...
*chews on boot*

Date: 2009-04-19 04:14 am (UTC)Awesome job with the weight loss! Were do you find the time to do that much exercise?

Date: 2009-04-20 11:15 pm (UTC)Thank you! It's really not that tough, to be honest. Sometimes I get up early and do it before work. Or I can even do simple cardio exercises or things with hand weights while I'm watching TV or something, if I so choose. That's actually the easiest time to do it :D

Date: 2009-04-20 11:18 pm (UTC)I'm really excited about the job, too. This could actually be a potential career or a springboard into a career, instead of a job. So I hope it goes well! And I am awfully glad to being moving out of there...although I'm leaving my BFF back there to suffer now *is a horrible friend*

Date: 2009-04-20 03:52 pm (UTC)Also, I hope to jump on the weight-loss bandwagon too, however while I'm still in school and working full time, I barely have time to sleep let alone squeeze in exercise time, so I applaud you! I've been trying to do little things, like take the stairs to the third floor here at school rather than take the elevator, take a healthier lunch to work instead of eating fast food, etc, but I plan on attacking it more full-force once I'm out of school. IM me sometime, I'm always online!

Date: 2009-04-20 11:19 pm (UTC)It's tough, but I know you can do it! *waves pom poms* Once you get into the habit, it's actually sort of fun, and the rewards are definitely worth it!
WILL DO! *loves on*

Date: 2009-04-21 05:35 am (UTC)But as a dirty old man(Or is that dirty young man? I'll have to watch Sorcerer Hunters again to check), I would love pictures even more.
