Initial thoughts on UP!

I need to take a shower and get to bed.

But I just thought I'd let you know that Up! might seriously be one of the best movies I've ever seen. I think I might even like it better than I liked WALL·E. And I friggin' loved that little robot.

Any movie that has me crying within the first five minutes is amazingly awesome, and then laughing within about three minutes after that cannot be described as anything other than sheer, mind-boggling awesomesauce.

That is all for the moment. More tomorrow, after I have worked, and returned from the state known as MINDBLOWN.

I cried like... two or three times. It was so sad and yet so awesome and funny.

At first I wasn't sure if Rach was actually crying or just pretending to, because she's done that before. And then suddenly I hear these outright sobs and see her fumbling for napkins, and I realized that I was not the only one ♥

And then just a few scant minutes after that, we were all laughing. It's such a beautiful, well-made movie. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

Loved Up! It did #1 at the box office with an estimated $68.2 million! YAY!!!

Yup! Beat out Star Trek and that horror movie whose title escapes me at the moment...I can't wait until it comes out so I can get it!

I cried twice, and laughed a lot. Even the things that totally stretched credibility somehow didn't for me. It's hard to explain, but it's an amazing movie and I'm really glad we saw it :D
