A few things happened today that we're not going to talk about. We are going to focus on the positive things. Else I might kill something. SO MOVING ALONG.

We got a new computer for the family. It shall be put in tomorrow. So I spent over an hour this evening clearing stuff off our old computer, running scans, etc. It was sort of tedious, to be honest. But eh, it's done. And the new computer is awesome and has a big screen suitable for the watching of subtitled anime on...since my computer likes to blue-screen and DIE if I try to watch a video for more than a couple of minutes on it. Yay for external hard-drives!

Tomorrow is Mom's birthday, so we're going out to breakfast before I go to work. And then tomorrow night are the Tony Awards! The Oscars of Broadway :D ...also known as "Candy's Yearly CD Shopping Time." We might actually DVR the show and then watch it so we can fast-forward through all those lovely commercials and stuff.

Have you ever had a suddenly urge to listen to a song? I did today. So I quickly grabbed my mp3 player, uploaded, and listened to Kenny Loggins' "House at Pooh Corner" about a dozen times in a row. God, I love that song ♥♥♥

Halfway through Good Omens now. Still loving it!

I managed to write a fic for a fandom that knocked the letter Z off both my title and fandom lists. So the only letter I have not started a fic title with now is X. (YES I AM THIS NEUROTIC.) But yay fandom number fifty-four! Still trying to decide which will be number fifty-five: Nightmare Before Christmas, Enchanted, or Up. Thoughts?

Candy! You probably don't know me at all -- I'm a terrible lurker, I don't even comment -- but I, erm. Well. Found a Shinichi/Ran doujinshi online that's in Japanese but that's extremely well-drawn (best drawn doujin I think I've ever seen, in terms of mimicking the canon work).

The thing is! It's totally NC-17. ._. But it's really, really well done, and the facial expressions are just alfkhaslkfha sometimes, so I thought I should at least check and see if you were interested.

:O Hello, lurker-type person! Don't worry, we're pretty lurker-friendly 'round here. Nice to meet you!

Hmm...well, I certainly have no problems with doujin or porn! It's just never anything I've actually looked for, I guess is the best way to put it. But you have my attention and I kind of wish to know more ^_^

Yay! \o/

Ahaha, really, I can't blame you; most of the hentai doujin I've come across for the series is awful in so many ways that I can't describe. But it was worth slogging through it to find this one. Message me with your e-mail and I can send it to you? :3

I'm approaching the two-thirds mark, reading a lot during my breaks at work, and I love it. "They would go down to the river to spoon, and on memorable occasion, to fork."

Bliss ♥

So totally not even remotely related to what you wrote about but... Do you watch Bridezillas?

Three words:

Murder. Mystery. Wedding.

No, really. The bride had a murder mystery-themed wedding reception.

Heiji/Kazuha, y/y?

I have never watched that show, but oh good heavens, that sounds divine. I first thought of Shinichi, though I think Ran would put him through a wall first XD

Actually I went all GASP SAGURU, because (thanks to Icka) his parents would totally be into it.

He said no. I'm trying to talk Heiji/Kaza and Shin/Ran into 5 year anniversary parties.

HOW DO YOU LIKE DEATH. YOU CAN TELL HE IS WRITTEN BY TERRY PRATCHET.
I read this book in 8th grade. I think it's about time to reread it.
