In which I speak of books~
Jul. 6th, 2009 08:47 pmFirst things first:
yamazaki_inc, I think you have a soul-mate XD KAT, THERE ARE NOW MORE PEOPLE WHO SHIP US.
You know it's been an interesting day at work when your manager looks at something you've done and says, "I have no idea how you did that, [Candy]. Absolutely no idea. But it's actually sort of impressive." The 'that' in question was getting a prescription to go through the insurance company a full week before it was technically allowed to do so. I don't know how I did it either. I pushed a button and it went. PHEAR MY MAD SKILLZ, YO.
I've been reading a lot during my breaks at work. That's how I plowed through the bulk of Good Omens and Howl's Moving Castle, both of which I absolutely adored. I'm currently working on the Queen's Thief trilogy, since I lent Kat the Discworld book so she would have something to read on Saturday while spending eight hours on radio duty. My goal is to actually finish reading the trilogy by the end of this week.
But I've been sort of making a listand checking it twice. Since I have the time, why not get through some of this stuff I've always wanted to or intended to read and just never got around to? Although...my List o' Stuff to Read is getting really long XD I've sort of considered signing onto
50bookchallenge, just for the novelty and because I like things that challenge me. Not sure about it yet.
All righty, gonna write for a while, and then read more! WHOO!

Date: 2009-07-07 08:14 pm (UTC)I once considered to join the 100 books challenge, but was too lazy to type the list. I simply take the books I've not read yet out of my shelf, or read ay book I stumble across which interests me (and stop when I don't like it).
(What genre do you like, by the way?)
