Our local Barnes and Noble (aka pretty much the only bookstore in my area of town) has the last volume of Furuba as of the in-store check thingie on the website this morning. So I'm going to stop there after work tonight and get it. And it shall be mine, it shall be my squishy.

Tomorrow, I shall read the entire series from top to bottom. I don't imagine that it'll take me too long to do so. But at long last, all these years after first discovering the series (and with it, anime), I will get to see the (presumably) fluffy sugary shoujo-y melodramatic ending to a series that has a very special place in my cold, dead, tar-blackened little heart.

Also, I am halfway through my next fandom for [livejournal.com profile] 100fandomhell. Fear me.

I still want Death Note. I gotta wait til... a long time.

For my own curiosity, what is Furuba about?

Easiest way to explain Furuba is to link you to the Wikipedia article. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruits_Basket)
