Dear body,

What is it with you this week? At what point did you decide that falling asleep before three AM was for weaklings? And when did you come to the conclusion that only babies sleep all the way through the night without waking up every hour or two to blink at the clock and pull the blanket up over one's head? Why was I not consulted on this?

I'm exhausted, and I want to sleep.

Will catch up on comments and things tomorrow. Right now I'm wiped out, and I haven't actually slept through the night in nearly a week, nor have I managed to fall asleep before two-thirty AM. So...yeah. If you come too close while I am in this state, I reserve the right to flop on you and sleep on you whilst hugging you liek koala. You have been warned.


ETA: ...and a belated glance at the clock reminds me of something else. It's September 11.

You know, I've been having the same problem all week. I can't fall asleep until 2:30AM or later but then I've been waking up at 4:30/5AM and unable to go back sleep. It must be something in the air.

I popped a sleep aid on Saturday night and that knocked me out for a good nine hours, which was glorious. Last night I was asleep before one AM, so I think I might be sort of inching back towards some sort of schedule, yay!
