A long time ago, back when I was still in my first semester of college, my darling spirit_sage_333 introduced me to the world of webcomics, and one in particular called Queen of Wands. The comic that this icon came from is found here, and to this day I can still quote that comic strip pretty much word for word. I think we all want a Chainsaw of Natural Selection, don't you?

Someone linked me to this a while back, and I thought it was cute, so I uploaded it. I think it was my MSN userpic for a while, too. My sister likes penguins, so I guess it could have been that I uploaded it in her honor as well. ILU, BUG! ...mot of the time.

When this Conan file came out and I saw that panel, I was all liek "I CAN HAZ ICON?" and the awesome saitaina went "U CAN HAZ ICON!" and I went "YAAAAAAY!" It's just so cute and happy!

...I love how Kat picked this one when she's the one who not only coined the phrase in the first place, but actually DREW THE THING *laugh* One of several in our Matching Icons Based on Inside Jokes Collection. It was a discussion about the Ace Attorney games. Can't remember exactly how this particular joke came about, but we giggled for weeks. We're very mature like that.

Saw it. Laughed my head off. Walked away. Came back a while later. Laughed my head off again. Decided to upload. Great pun. Must talk in fragments.

It's not a secret that I've been slowly sinking into Torchwood, and so like any good fangirl, I started keeping my eyes open for icons. I now have several, with a few others I'm considering. But this was the first Torchwood icon I uploaded because hey, gotta love Jack's coat :D We all know Ianto does.




Just an FYI--I haven't really been keeping up with the internets as of late, i.e. the f-list and comments and everything. Been sort of preoccupied by other real-life things, like trying to convince myself that I will someone be able to fit the entire contents of that pharmacy tech manual into my head and pass a test. Trust me, that's turning into a full-time job in and of itself. So if I miss important things, it's nothing personal. I'm just...GAAAAAAH at the moment.

Haha, this looks like an awesome meme. Since I downgraded to a basic account after the whole fiasco of LJ censoring and deleting journals I only have the 6 icons, the maximum allowance for basic users. Not much fun in the meme under those circumstances. :(

Ah, class. It likes to do that. I really should be letting the whole figuring out college thing eat my life, but considering I can't decide anything it's not working well >_>
