I have received my actual pharmacy tech paper certificate in the mail, to be taken into work! I told
kaitodoushi, and she asked if she could color on it. I said no. Even though I'm sure it would have been very pretty ♥
I also have a gym membership now, whoooooo! Made a promise to myself that by the time we went to see Beauty and the Beast at the Orpheum (on March twenty-first), I would be able to buy myself a pretty new outfit from the Normal People Sizes in the store. This should be useful, especially since LiveHealthy is starting up! NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION GET!
Am considering starting an LJ account to keep public record of the weight battle this year around...w-would anyone be willing to watch it and cheer me on if I did that? *puppy eyes* I seem to do a lot better if I'm answering to someone. Makes it harder to slack off.
I also also have plunnies. Lots of them. Like...my list is four pages long, for quite a few fandoms. Of that list, I think I have about six things in various stages of completion (half-done, nearly completed, and "finished but oh my GOD this needs to be rewritten six ways from Tuesday). Between work, my flimsy excuse for a social life, and last week's crowning glory - MIGRAINES - I have achieved precious little.
And finally, I was sick today. It was fun, let me tells ya~ TMI ALERT HERE, but...yeah, last time I threw up was my junior year of college, which was in the 4-5 years ago range, which fits my usual pattern of getting flattened once every 3-5 years. I don't get sick often, so when I do, I tend to remember it ^^;; But yeah, am scheduled to work tomorrow. We'll, err, see how that goes. If it goes.
So of course my family decides that tonight is the PERFECT night to get Subway sandwiches for dinner, when I am very pointedly not eating. Of course *sticks tongue out*

Date: 2010-01-13 02:19 pm (UTC)EEEEE! *glomps* I'm figuring between the gym, my Wii Fit, and various work-out DVDs, I should have no trouble getting in the exercise part of things. I'm going grocery shopping on Friday armed with a list--time for a diet change as well.
I'd love to go walking sometimes...and we are enjoying a bit of a heat wave right now! The temps are all the way up into the twenties! :D

Date: 2010-01-13 04:17 pm (UTC)Doing some exercise isn't hard. It's doing it regularly that is the hard part.
Diet-wise, I recommend a salad (not iceburg lettuce) loaded with veggies and only a touch of dressing and and whole grain bread for sandwiches and toast.
Heh. That's cold here (Houston) but I grew up in North Dakota so I know what you mean.
