First off - is anyone else not getting email alerts from LJ regarding new comments? o_o

Stomach bug seems to have been a twenty-four hour thing. I was back at work yesterday, and have eaten actual food!

I came home from work yesterday to find that our internet was out. Figuring it to be a temporary thing, I didn't pay too much attention (it's happened before) until this morning, when it was still out. A call to our provider and a few different tweaks seem to indicate that our wireless router has gone kaput. Which is fine - that's fixed easily enough. Just means that for the moment we have one computer with internet access. AND I HAVE THE HOUSE TO MYSELF FOR MOST OF THE DAY!

But since I couldn't get online, I decided to spend my time doing something productive: I pulled out my DS and hopped on board playing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. I was up to day 352 when I last stopped, so I thought I'd see how far I could get. And lo and behold, I wound up finishing the game. And with no internet, I texted ammchan, and then I had to...actually...dial a phone and call kaitodoushi and squeal at her with my voice 0_0 It was fun. I must do it more oft-- *brick'd*

Y-you all know I'm seriously just kidding on that, right?

And most of it is because I've played KHII, so I know what happens to Roxas in that. So I was like, "...GUH." I'm glad I was alone in the house because explaining to the parents that yes, I was swearing and making other assorted odd noises over the fate of fictional characters...not high on my list of things I want to do.

Also, I think Axel is my favorite KH character. Seriously, total adoration for fictional character.

So yesh, I can has finished that! Updated my Backloggery to reflect that fact (finally getting that thing up to date, yay!) Next up is Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, which sounded really stupid on paper but is turning out to be a surprisingly fun game! Especially because Zelda has... *gulp* ...personality. I'm quite liking her!

kaitodoushi and I are continuing on our way through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories. Ideally, we'll finish those by the time Gyakuten Kenji hits our hot little hands. And also now we get to wait for Birth by Sleep, which promises to be amazing. And there are a couple of PSP games coming out that I sort of have my eye on...hooray for being a total nerd!


In non-nerding news, I'm going to be setting up an LJ account for the recording of weight loss plan. I'll link it here tonight and get going on it properly. We're going to see Beauty and the Beast (the Broadway musical!) at the Orpheum on March 21st, and my goal is still to be able to buy myself a pretty new outfit for the show from the normal sizes. FIGHT-O! \o/

I've been meaning to try out Kingdom Hearts; I've never actually played it. Or if I did I got lost somewhere and gave up. |D;; Where would a good starting point be?

I finished Spirit Tracks though! You're right, it's surprisingly fun! Haha.

The best place to start, to my mind, would be the first one. Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 sets up a lot of the stuff that permeates all the rest of the games. In terms of canon order, it goes Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II.

I'm up to the third temple :D I'm enjoying it more than I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass ^^;; I'm sure that makes me a bad fan or something...

Except 358/2 starts before Chain of Memories but ends well after XDDD So it's hard to say the order there =/

It's sort of simultaneous, but I put CoM as first if only because playing that gives you a much better understanding of what everyone in 358/2 is talking about when they refer to Castle Oblivion :3c

The sad thing is, I don't think you are kidding.

And yeah, the ending of that game is made far more asdf;asdfasoj by knowing the start of II -_- I was also glad I was home alone when I played it. Because... yeah, it was similar plus bawling.

I thought of something else to ask you about the end, actually! And we must also do Mission Moding =P And somehow figure out who's playing who, especially if we can manage to snag Rach one of these days XD

I was similarly glad to be home alone because I was making noises that I would have hated to have had to justify or explain to my parents or sister. That would have been a wii bit awkward.

Yay! Ask me later tonight, after I get off work--if I can snag any time on the computer. I sent Mom a text relaying what the guy at Tech Support said, so maybe I'll get lucky and come home to find that they've picked up a new router so I can has internet on my own computer again *crosses fingers*

Yeah, it was awkward enough after I got through the Roxas section in Kingdom Hearts 2 and came in sobbing and I had even warned my dad I was going to start crying after I played that part XD

All righty! Yeah, hopefully. You could even buy your own like we did if you really need to. Or we can do that weird telephone thing again =P

Regarding fanfic100...just do it? There's no time limit, so if you just go at it and write it at your own speed, you'll be fine :D I'm thinking about finding another theme list (i.e. one I haven't written for) and lining up my fandoms and plunnies with it :D

Well, I more meant what to do claim wise XD; Either pick a character in the Organization or look into asking that person if they're going to do it cause I can't find any fics they wrote. Cause I'm not sure how picking a specific character would affect it =/

If I were you, I'd just send the person a PM or email or something and politely inquire as to whether or not they are still wanting to write for their claim. When/if you hear back, you can go from there =]
