...wow, a lot of Chrestomanci fans on my f-list z(^o^)-b I picked up two compilations, each with two books of the series. I'm reading compilatin #1 right now (...which I'm sure is fairly obvious), and I finished Charmed Life yesterday on my break at work. I liked it, and am interested in reading further :D

I have an etiquette question here, folks: if one starts a fic on an anon meme and has not yet finished it, but...like, two years later decides that they want to make an attempt to finish it, is it acceptable practice to de-anon, post it publicly, and finish it in the regular fashion? Not that I'm speaking about myself, though... *koff*

kaitodoushi and I played a bit more Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories the other day. We're into Hollow Bastion, which means we're nearing the end of the game. I think. I have some sporking to post at some point. Isn't it just great when the game SPORKS ITSELF?? It's gotten to the point where one of us will make a joke, and then be a little bit afraid of what the characters' next lines will be.

And finally, gaiz, I'm getting the urge again. That...little twitch, you see. The compulsion that makes me sort of want to pick up some sort of a fanfic challenge and write a crap-ton. Not sure what fandom or what challenge, but...I KIND OF WANT TO DO IT ;__; H-halp? (Or suggestions. Suggestions are nice too!)

Chrestomanci is one of my favorite tiny fandoms, and it has some great Yuletide fic. You should pick up the third compiliation too, actually, if you have #1 and #2, because #3 is the continued adventures of Cat and Christopher.

I think anyone would be happy to have an abandoned anon fic finished, even if the person de-anoned to do it.

I got one and two because they were right in front of me at the library. After I finish those, I'll take a look and see what else I can find. Small city = small library, I'm afraid ~_~

I started writing the fic in question...well, it's been a long time. Have the entire thing planned out. And then I just sort of...stopped xDD I might just de-anon, post it on candyfics, and finish it that way...

alternately, if said anon-meme's post is full-up, find one of the request-filled archives of said anon-meme usually if they're big they have one (and a fan comm if one is still active to post the link to as well!).

You're getting into Chrestomani? Yay \o/ DWJ is totes an awesome author. Be sure to get to all the Howl books eventually if you haven't yet! The anon-fic thing sounds like it would be a-okay to do to me. Two years later, I'd consider it more of a generic invitation than a specifically anonymous challenge.

Speaking of challenges and such, Lurker Day is coming up again; you could write something for each of your fandoms in which someone is lurking, or something.

I've actually read Howl's Moving Castle and totally adored it :D Sophie has chutzpah, and I approve of that in a character *thumbs up* I'm starting on the next book...probably tomorrow on break at work, so we'll see where I go with it!

I only saw the movie once (and I recall enjoying it well enough, although it seemed to spiral into typical Miyazaki WTF-ery about two-thirds of the way through *laugh*), but yes, Billy Crystal was flawless in that role.

I think I'll start divvying it up into chapters, clean it up a bit, and then officially de-anon it on Lurker Day xD Then I can has finish it also.
