Work, diet, Lurker Day, and gaming - in that order!

Culinary revelation of the day: raisins actually tasty pretty darn good on a spinach salad under a Greek vinaigrette.

I worked a few hours at another pharmacy today - just another one in the branch. Four hours of standing and counting meds, yay!

Yesterday I made this "soy sauce" recipe. I'm actually surprised at how tasty it came out. Lower sodium than regular soy sauce, too. Next time I'll make sure I actually have minced garlic on the shelf before I start, too XD I'm sure it will taste much better than garlic powder. Into day two of the diet, am already fighting off cravings for salty things. The first couple of weeks are going to be the hardest, I just know it...


So...Lurker Day is fast approaching. And I have been writing. A lot. So I have to ask: how many of you would kill me if candyfics (and to a lesser extent 100fandomhell, guilty by cross-posting) completely annihilated your f-lists?

Because at present I have ten things either completely finished or on the very cusp of being finished, and there are two other things I am determined to write before March 2nd. Fandoms are Detective Conan/Magic Kaito, Professor Layton, Magic Knight Rayearth (*snow falls in hell*), Kingdom Hearts, and a few new ones for 100fandomhell. F-LIST MURDER FOR THE WIN, YES/NO/MAYBE/BOOT TO THE HEAD?

...oh, and New Project is officially a go and will be unveiled on Lurker Day :3c It's for the Professor Layton fandom, so...there'll be more cross-posting if you've got professorlayton on your f-list. Maybe I should space this out a bit...


All seriousness aside, kaitodoushi is coming over tonight for a massive gaming session. We've currently got three joint games in progress (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Ace Attorney Investigations). Paper Mario has actually been in progress for...months ^^;; At some point I really should post some of our sporkings...Kingdom Hearts has proven to be comedy gold ♥

We're hopefully going to finish at least one of the above tonight/tomorrow. Hey, it could happen - last time we had an overnighter, we were watching Torchwood. Started with episode three at around...ten-thirty, ended with episode eight at four AM or thereabouts. I think we watched some special features in there as well...and I screamed about the fact that Cybermen apparently wear high heels ._.


...okay should go clean now.

I totally encourage the immense flow of creativity but I think I'm gonna have to take candyfics off my flist for a little while, if only because it's really tough to check my flist as it is XD;; so with that and the laytoncomm i imagine it'd be pretty difficult to keep up with regular updates...?
