Last night, [livejournal.com profile] raerae639 and I went to see Alice in Wonderland.

I friggin' loved it! :D The visuals, the interpretation, the...everything! THE JABBERWOCKY! I actually read the book way back in the day (I think I was in first grade or thereabouts, so it's been a REALLY long time), but I do remember the illustrations of "Jabberwock," and the Jabberwocky's design seemed to be based very heavily on those original drawings, which was cool.

No one plays crazy like Helena Bonham Carter, and...well, Johnny Depp continues to refuse to appear sane on film, but it works for him. He played a very different reinterpretation of the Hatter, and it cracked me up :D

So yes, very pleased~ *plots fics and reads all the ones I can get my hands on*

But at the end of the movie, we stayed put to watch the credits and see who voiced who. There was a group of people in front of us, around our age or maybe a little younger. Well, Alan Rickman's name came up on the screen (he voiced the Caterpillar), I wound up having a moment with the girl in front of me...

HER: Oh my god! Snape, Snape, Severus Snape...
ME: Dumbledore!

...a la "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" from Potter Puppet Pals. I got a high-five, and we finished the song together \o/

We also had a TOTALLY MATURE GIGGLE over a mushroom on the screen that looked like a penis :3c

I enjoyed Alice in Wonderland. :) I have no fic ideas but I'm sure it wouldn't take long for the plunnies to spawn if I started talking it over with someone (and plunnies would fit right in!).

I have a couple tentative thoughts, but nothing solid enough to write just yet. I must plan a bit *plot plot plot* I'll talk with you about it! *waves hand in the air* Pick me, pick me!

I so wanted people to bounce plunnies off of when I first saw the movie, because it was too much fun NOT to fic.

So now that I'm drifting out of that fandom, due to annoyance with a few tweeny-types, MY DC/MK FRIENDS ARE GETTING INTO IT.

*head desk*

Seriously though, if you wanna talk plunnies sometime. ^__^

Also, the singing? Awesome. XD

I remember you saying that it was your primary fandom and I was like "Aww, we could talk plunnies, but I haven't seen it yet D:"

Erk. Tweeny-types...I'm not sure I want to know >_> But that's just how it goes, isn't it? I-I'll talk plunnies with you sometime? *will pull you back in, oh yesh*

*laugh* Thanks!
