Inconceivable...
May. 16th, 2006 10:41 amIt's a quarter to eleven in the AM and my day's already gone all crazy-like. I had an eight AM final, so I set my alarm clock for ten after seven so I'd have time to get up and shower before I went to take my test.
I opened my eyes and saw sunlight. I rolled over and looked at my alarm clock. I saw that it said one o'clock. I was awake very, very quickly in a full-blown panic attack. I looked at my laptop for confirmation.
Ari's clock said 7:15.
It took me a moment to put two and two together, get seven, and then realize that my alarm batteries had apparently died at one AM the past morning. Once my heartrate returned to normal, I got up and took a shower and went to class. Made it to class on time (and I have absolutely NO idea why I woke up on time), took my final--there was only one question where I was totally blank. Out of ten essay questions, that's not too atrocious.
Juries are rapidly approaching *isn't excited* I know I'm going to forget the words to my Italian piece. And last night, during my practice session of DOOM, my piano piece actually sort of clicked! Like, it was suddenly right there, under my fingers! Watch me go in today to play it for my grade and not be able to find a note. Waaaaaaah... ;_;
And then it's right into my Music History test. Pray for me, everybody. Just...pray. I'll let you know how it goes.
Countdown: 6 days 'till Europe!
