Mmmmmmmph...
Nov. 29th, 2005 09:37 amI hate getting sick. But Emma is officially my hero. See, I had to go downstairs and drop something off at her apartment (and after three flights of stairs, the world became very fuzzy...), and she ended up giving me some "stronger generic version of Nyquil." I went back upstairs, curled up in bed, and about half an hour later, I was out cold. Slept like a baby right up until my alarm went off at 8:15 this morning. My stomach isn't hurting anymore--now it's just empty. I didn't eat at all yesterday because I wasn't sure if I trusted my stomach to keep things down. I'm still kinda achey, but otherwise, I think I'm okay now.
Made me feel really good, though, when one of my friends asked if I was really sicked. I'm thinking, "Does he want me to describe what the puke looked like or does he just want to come over and watch me stagger back and forth between my room and the bathroom? I promise, I probably look like I'm drunk!" Time for a public service announcement: Steve, sweetie, if I miss class--especially one of Jerry's classes--you know I'm either sick, or I've got some really pressing business elsewhere. Of course I was sick, you moron!
*bows* This has been a public service announcement. Doing my part to save the rainforest and all.
So I'm back in Music History, aka "The Class I Cannot Pay Attention In to Save My Soul." Sooooo I get to entertain myself. Figure now's as good a time as any to pull out some randomness I saw on someone else's LJ. Thought it might be interesting...

Well, that killed about half of this class. *sigh* I'm hungry...well, time to go occupy myself for another half an hour until I can go eat. So very, very booooooored...yes, I'm whining. I know I am. But if you had to sit through this class, you would whine too, guaranteed or your money back.
Mom told me when I started college that I would hit junior year and be ready to be done with school. Why in the world does she have to be so, ya know, right all the damn time?!? She told me that when she got to her junior year of college, she and her friend were ready to quit school, run off, and become secretaries. Soooooooo...is it winter break yet?
Much love,
