Hope everyone had a great Lucky Day! I actually did!

It sounds like we miiiiiight be getting wireless internet on Sunday. In which case I have every intention of getting a connector for my own computer. YAY FOR BEING A HERMIT! If this all works out, it also means that I can be online a bit more ^_~

See, Mom's taking a class online. She wants to get her degree and CPA. So my internet time becomes limited in the evenings when a lot of you lovely people are online ;o; Here's hoping that this wireless thing works! I miss you all!

In other news...my area is not flooded. Eighty-three of the ninety-nine counties in Iowa have been named disaster areas between the tornadoes and the floods. My county is one of the sixteen that is apparently still safe. I guess the Missouri River hasn't swelled that much?

It looks like I will be back at work this summer. Good ol' Hy-Vee ^^;; I actually got a phone call from them this afternoon (courtesy of kaitodoushi asking if I'd want to come back at least temporarily. Then something was mentioned about possibly forty hours a week. Which would make my bank account absolutely SING [/selfish pragmatic brat-ness]

So I'm going in next week to talk to the personnel manager and see what we can arrange. And Kat and I will be co-workers! If we're closing together, do you know how much AWESOME that would be? We'd certainly have some good conversations, even on crappy nights ^_~

Now if only I could find a bleepin' teaching job... *sigh*
