If it was a month and a half later, that might actually fall around fall break time for us. That would've been do-able, I think *shrug* Maybe next year...

For as long as I've been going, it's always been the weekend following Labor Day weekend. This year is a real change for me.

The worst part is that someone, upon finding out that I live in Iowa, actually asked me if we had electricity...over an AIM chat. I'm like, "Nope, I'm online by candlelight. It's really hard on the eyes." At least they had the grace to admit that it was a stupid question XD

Everyone else on LJ seems to be into CFUD. I'm kinda poking around on the comm in search of...something ^^;; Does look interesting, though...

Well, it's not quite everyone ^^a As far as I know, a good percentage of my 'flist still hasn't checked it out yet. And then there's the people who I friended/friended me because of CFUD :D;;; CFUD is hilarious crack, but if you want to start out with just a taste, take a look at cfudquotes. You can also check out the camper and councelor lists to see if there's anyone you recognize. (Jeva and I also just sent in apps for Kaito and Hakuba (respectively), but we might not get in. We're probably going to try and reapp if we don't, though.) We also just got a Will Turner in, if you care to watch that; since he's new, it should give you a general idea of the sorts of things that happen around CFUD, and some of the people there and stuff.

....Not that I'm trying to get you addicted. Really.

I'll admit that I'm definitely curious--and some of those quotes were freakin' hilarious ^__^ I shall continue to watch and see if I can figure out exactly what's going on. I'm slow like that ^^;;

Well, we just finished up Fanon Weekend, if that helps any. And most of the campers have given up on trying to find out who killed the Director's fiancé (which is why she trapped them there--they're all suspects 8D).

Anyway, if you do get addicted (and even if you don't), I've foolishly volunteered to play Hostess for the potential CFUD convention. Which means it'll be in Iowa, and probably my hometown.

XD Good luck with that. I count myself lucky if I can follow what's happening with a set of characters at any given time. Though here's hoping for the second option ;)

Hmm. Five hours, huh? *does not begin pondering what a day trip would involve, at all* We used to be vaguely in the middle of the state (I think), and then stuff happened so they had to move the capitol.
