One comment in their defense is that (usually) do an all right job on subbing with the option of subs with the honorifics left on the names.

I don't by much anime. Not that my collection isn't repsectable, its just there isn't a whole lot I want to buy. I prefer subs because I now understand enough Japanese that I only need to half read them. Sometimes, not at all.

lol I just download or get them imported :/ I can't stand dubbs. Raw japanese is fine by me~ I like it better that way~ I need subbs bad if there are military terms, I never understand them DX

I try to be nice and not download them if they are licensed (unless I want a sample to see if I like it). I don't understand enough Japanese to watch without subtitles... yet. One day, maybe one day.

well I get them before they are licensed. :/ because they are super expensive otherwise... though I could get Chinese import, but they come with no dubbs, XD though there are some I've been meaning to by :/

Some series I have weren't licensed when I downloaded them either. Not DC. That's my one that I must watch the new episodes of.

They can be pricey. But not as bad as in Japan. Their DVDs cost something like $50. And that's for a regular disk. The manga brought over is pricey but the anime is a lot cheaper! Which irks me because I buy a nice chunk of manga in a year.

Well Japanese manga is pretty cheap for me :/ only 5 bucks per book (7 depending on how big)

Actually, when I was in college I WAS shipped with everyone in my little circle of friends, including my female then-best friend ^^;; I've been "shipped" with a TON of people xD
