Meeeeeeeeeeme me!
Oct. 11th, 2007 04:09 pmSo far today has been pretty awesome. I'm waiting to hear back from my loan company if they approved the consolidation with the co-signer (thank you, Mom!), and my principal popped in for observation today and based on his comments he seems to think I'm doing all right \o/
Oh, and it's getting colder here. Like...I wore my winter coat for the first time today XD
And I should really finish that
30_ways fic...or that
30_friends fic...and get something posted. It's been a few days and I have a quota to meet!
So here--I give you a meme as ganked from
aishuu!
What do you think are the "trademarks" of the fiction that I write? What type of themes or characterization notes or quirks keep on manifesting in my writing? Essentially, what do you think is a stereotypically "Candyland" way of writing fic?
My choice of icon for this entry was done in the spirit of kidding ^_~

Date: 2007-10-12 06:10 pm (UTC)OMG, I haven't had time to read your fics in a while. . . .Anyway, you have a knack for all genres, especially humor. (Go Candy crack!) You can write about the most mundane of things and turn them into masterpieces. (Wish I can do that!) Your fics may be short, but they do a good job of placing the characters in situations we don't see in the anime or read in the manga.
And now for the random stuff I notice about your writing:
1. "[insert number]-point-[insert number]-seconds"
2. You always forget to correct the closing quotion mark after a dash.
3. word...word
4. You genreally use the Japanese names and honorifics, but I've never seen you use "Okaa-san" or "Otou-san."
5. The fondness for smut . . . and fluff.
P.S. If the disclaimer's really hilarious, that fic's got to be yours.
P.S.S. I'll probably gank this meme someday . . . when I write more fics. *sweatdrops*
