Stressed.

So stressed.

Like "ready to throw up" stressed.

Choir concert tomorrow.

Not ready.

Want to cry.

So much to do.

Help...

*crawls into the first available lap and curls up*

EDIT: Okay. I've calmed down a little bit. Got a few things done, and am currently scribbling out more of a fic in the back of my notebook. Might knit a few rows as well. Just...doing things to keep myself calm and focused. I have students coming for lessons next period.

I began ordering stuff for Christmas last night. I know, I know...I said I would wait until Friday. But my sister's birthday gift was one of the things I wanted to order, and I wanted to make sure it got to her at least around her birthday.

I don't know if I posted about this here before or not, but I found the PERFECT GIFT for my father while randomly browsing on Amazon. He loves Snoopy and Charlie Brown and the whole gang, so I really think this will go over well. Best part is that it's a series of books. Dad's sort of hard to shop for, so we like to look for things like that to give him, where we can give him another boxed set or installment at each gift-giving occasion. So my intention is to give him these book sets one at a time. They'll be coming out for a long time, too, so I'll be covered for Dad for the next few years, I daresay :D

I also am a ham. As mentioned, Little Sister's getting a birthday present. She turns twenty on November 3rd, can you believe it? TWENTY! She made the comment that she got some Nancy Drew books for a gift one year...and no one ever got her anymore. So she's getting two of 'em for her birthday. Once they get here, I'm going to wrap them and ship them off to her with a card. I hope she likes them ^^;;

Mom's getting the first season of Numb3rs. The advent of the DVD has made shopping for my parents a LOT easier. I'm guessing Mom will also find some NCIS and Criminal Minds under the tree this year ;) Actually, wouldn't be surprised if there were some Simpsons and maybe Family Guy all wrapped up for Dad, too.

I also ordered gifts for the first two of my friends. Not telling who ;) But a couple of people are getting very spoiled this holiday season.

Next go-around (which will be in a couple of weeks) will be another gift for Mom and Dad--they recently discovered the TV show Monk ([livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi, you like that show, don't you?), so I'm getting them the first season of that on DVD. It was actually my sister's idea, but she's doing all of her Christmas shopping when she goes to India in January. But I asked her if she wanted this to be from both of us, and she sort-of said yes. I'll ask again when she seems a little less distracted ^_^

Next go-around will also include Little Sister's gift of AWESOME THAT SHE HAD BETTER LOVE. I wavered about it for a while before deciding to go with the Guitar Hero II bundle set--comes with the game and the guitar controller. And I intend to bring my controller home so she and I can play each other :D Guitar Hero is really one of those games that's a lot more fun when you have more than one person *glomps [livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi and [livejournal.com profile] bishonen_girl*

Also, my scalp really itches. I don't think I got all the shampoo or conditioner or something washed out of it. Itchy itchy itchy!! *flails

Okay, have calmed down. Wow, that turned out long. Oh well--I feel a little bit better. Back to work!

*hugs* Thanks. I did some things to calm myself down, and now I feel better. I'm sure it'll be okay. And besides, my mentor told me that during his first concert, he thought it was god-awful. I might go bother him for a few minutes later today, just to make sure that I'm not totally crazy.

At least next time I'll have a better grasp on things and know more what I'm doing *takes a deep breath* I will make it.

and for after edit, I'd say that your holiday presents are sounding really planned out. Kudos for keeping =something= under control xD

and yeah, I vote wash your hair again and use less shampoo/conditioner and give it a good wash through. Might stop it itching, if it doesn't you might have to change the stuff you use.

It does feel really good to have something under control. Even if it's just spending lots of money XD And I like doing nice things for my friends :)

After school today, the first thing I'm doing is taking a shower and washing my hair. It's driving me NUTS. Only a few more hours...

I don't have that kind of self control over spending I wish I did I waste so much money.
...
Though, I won't say getting super paper mario instead of saving my money for another game was a waste 'cause thats a damn fun game.

Must be a pain to have to wash every.single.day. Since guys don't do that usually unless there out to impress someone.
