I forgot to mention this on my post about the room renovations we did, but while we were moving kaitodoushi's bed during the painting process? Well, she has a space heater in her room. While moving the bed, I had to step up and over it to get the bed where we wanted it. This meant that I had to spread my legs and kind of hop over it. As I did, it sort of brushed against the inside of my knee, and I could not help myself.

ME: Kat...the space heater has made me a woman!

In other news, maskalade posted a few spoilers for the new Professor Layton game, the third (and allegedly final) game in the series. And having read those spoilers of my own free will, I have this intelligent, thoughtful, and well-worded statement to make about it.

*pantpant* ...I think this game is going to become the Apollo Justice of the Layton-verse, in that a large chunk of the fandom is NOT going to accept this as canon. And I might be one of them. Which is weird, given that I'm usually such a canon-whore. But this? Yowzers. And I was just starting to let myself get sucked into the fanon...

...also, I think that when I finally see/play this game and get to the ending cut scene, you will all hear about it. And it will be filled with typos. Because I will be bawling my poor little eyes out. I haven't even seen the bloody thing, and I was getting teary just reading about it. IT'S. THAT. EPIC.

And finally (and more coherently), ladies and gentlemen, my current favorite number is 50,051.

It's very twisted, and certainly not expected. But...still, I really can't decide what I think of it. Maybe once I get to play the game (about ten years or so from now) and can see all the motivations and things for myself, I'll be able to make up my mind.

In the meantime, I'll just keep my eye on YouTube for that ending cutscene. I MUST SEE IT BECAUSE I JUST KNOW THAT I'M GOING TO WEEP.

Oh, I'm going to play it for myself as well! Lots of stuff that I don't know yet, as well as having all those snazzy awesome puzzles to solve (which is why I got the first game in the first place--I likes puzzles!). Maybe once I can see it for myself, I'll be able to make a better decision as to what I think of it XD

The spoilers are shocking, but...I honestly can't see why people would hold them in discontinuity. There's only one reason and it's not really that good of a reason (EVEN IF I AM TOO DAMN IT)

Plus, both the twist and the ending work beautifully in the pacing of the game. L5 really know how to pull on heartstrings ;A;

Idk. I love all the spoilers and thought they were done really, really well, even if I might moan about how much they make me cry |D

Given the way the fandom feels about that certain character who is now known as K? I foresee a bit o' RAWR on the horizon XD (IT'S PROBABLY THE SAME REASON AS ME. AFTER ALL THIS TIME, I'M LETTING MYSELF GET INTO THE FANON, AND THEN LEVEL-5 PULLS THIS??)

Wow. Haha, guess what, guess what!? XD I just finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village! XD Okay, fine, everything except that last puzzle in the Puzzle Master's House. Stupid sliding puzzle with big red block. I'll probably be at it again tomorrow, which is bad considering the only thing I did today was play and I still have school tomorrow. Ah well. XP THREE Layton games? o.0 What are the other two??? XP Educate me Oh-Great-Candyland! XP

If you need any help, I recommend this site. (http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/) It's pretty much THE place to look for puzzle solutions, and it's about as spoiler-free as you can get.

The second game is Professor Layton and Pandora's Box (at least, that's the unofficial English name). Layton and Luke find his mentor dead, and are trying to locate this magical box that kills anyone who opens it.

The third game (the one that just came out) is called Professor Layton and the Last Time Travel. We meet an old girlfriend and a future self, who the fandom has officially dubbed Legal!Luke XD If you're interested, I highly recommend joining up at the professorlayton community. Really friendly bunch over there!
