Add this one to the finished list~
Jan. 26th, 2009 03:20 pmI just finished Escaflowne. Here are my two initial thoughts:
A) WHERE THE FIZZITY-UCK WAS THE ENDING MAKE-OUT SCENE?
B) Dilandau. 'Nuff said. Excuse me while I pick up the broken pieces of my brain and try to pretend that I wasn't screaming (mostly obscenities) at my TV screen straight through the last three episodes.
*puts it back on the shelf and grabs Abenobashi*

I still love the show.

I wound up enjoying it, though it wasn't until about the last handful of episodes that I realized it had me XD And I did like the ending. And I have a plunnie or two.

*cackles* It had you and you didn't even know it. I like that. ^_^ I knew it had me within the first couple of episodes because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Strangely enough, I don't have any plunnies for the series. For me, that last episode had a touch of finality that makes it difficult for me to write from.

It wasn't until about halfway through it that I realized I was really wondering what was going to happen next. And then the last six episodes were like "MUST WATCH. MUST WATCH MORE NOW." But the treadmill is a harsh mistress...
I actually just had a plunnie for it that I really, really like. It doesn't add anything to the ending, per se, but... *plotplotplot*

*mad laughter along the lines of Dilandu's laugh* Don't you love stories where you can't predict what will happen next?
Go ahead and write it. I double dog dare you.
